I'm not asian, I just have a really small eye crease. You can only see about a quarter of my eyelid, so it's really hard to put eyeshadow and eyeliner on without it looking weird. Not wearing anything isn't an option either because I play a part in a school play that requires me to wear really dark and heavy eye makeup.
If you don't know what I'm talking about it looks something like what these people have.

just practice putting a really thin line. thick lines aren't very attractive anyhow.
stage make up is different from regular make up. you're supposed to put it on thick and dark, and it doesn't look nice up close. the lights are so bright and the people sit so far away you need a lot of make up so your face isn't like a ghost.
you should be happy that you have big eyes, you probably don't need any eyeliner anyhow.
