Is there a way i can make Bratz make up kit eyeshadow look good?

I wanted to know cause i found a cool eye make up technique(i think i spelled that right,Ha! i can't spell) that include Purple eyeshadow

The link is here, It's the first picture, http://makeup.lovetoknow.com/Pictures_of_Cool_Eye_Makeup and i'm a big fan of purple eyeshadow.

Anything? Is there a way i can make Bratz make up kit eyeshadow look good?
i'd suggest going JcPenny's or Khols they have great make up. JCP has a big palette of colors but Kohls has this flirt eye shadow that stays on longer and it has a more beautiful color and shine to it.

I have every color so i know how you feelIs there a way i can make Bratz make up kit eyeshadow look good?
Yea, I like it. You need Dark purple at the bottom and outer edges, then you need middle purple then pinky at the top.
hahahaha you loser
why not jut buy grown up eyeshadow. Bratz probably won't look good or last long

  • I'm planning on wearing a silver and black outfit and I was wondering what colour of eyeshadow should I use?

What colour of eyeshadow should I use? Does it have to be silver or something else?I'm planning on wearing a silver and black outfit and I was wondering what colour of eyeshadow should I use?
Don't use any bright colors like purple or blue. Putting silver on the inner corner of your eyes and black on the outside would look really good. Really any dark colors, black, silver/greys or Charcoal colors would be complimented by the outfit.I'm planning on wearing a silver and black outfit and I was wondering what colour of eyeshadow should I use?
Try a black smokey eye. See the link below for an example, but don't go as dark.

    http://www.hairstylescut.com/images/smok鈥?/a>

    **EDIT**

Smokey eye still works on dark skin - trust me. Plenty of Black celebs wear this look. It looks beautiful on dark skin when done properly. MAC even sells a special eye shadow that has a little silver in it that can go with a smokey eye.
um you can choose one of those but goldish yellowish color would look nice
ya i agree with the bottom one, a pale pink would be nice.

i dont really prefer sparkely colors b/c dull colors make ppl look more classy.

a light grey would also be ok.

maybe just put mascara on the bottom lashes. =)
    maybe black

    http://www.urbandecay.com/products/ZeroD鈥?/a>
The color eyeshadow you should use is a neutral, tan eyeshadow. It doesn't have to be silver or something else unless you want it to be.
Smoke gray with small amount of silver glitter.
a nice smokey grey would be pretty.

    you could still do silver.

a light pink would also look great!
Try using a shadow that is the same colour of your eyes...!

What is the real way to put on to put on eyeshadow? 3 colors top middle bottom or what?

Hi, I actually read this really good article about how to apply eyeshadow, you'll find more useful information there I'm sure:

http://www.carefair.com/Makeup/Eyes-and-鈥?/a>What is the real way to put on to put on eyeshadow? 3 colors top middle bottom or what?
    Okay here's the answer....

But the light 'highlighting' color over your entire lid up to your eyebrows, then use the middle color just on your lids up to the crease, then use the dark color just in the crease with a thin shadow brush.

Complete it with eyeliner and mascara and it will look great. What is the real way to put on to put on eyeshadow? 3 colors top middle bottom or what?

check the links below for beauty tips to:-- * Applying Eyeliner

    http://homebeautytips.blogspot.com/2007/鈥?/a>
you want an eyeshadow that comes with 3 shades of one color. A dark light and medium. What you do is start with the lightest one and put it on the upper part of your eye all the way up to your eyebrow. Then with the darkest color line the crease of your eye and the back corners of your eye to open your eye up. Last take the medium color and finish the beginnig part of your eye, also line the the front corners with the lightest color and the bottom eyelid
It depends on the eyes. Usually if you have deep set eyes, you should put on only two light shades, the line right outside of the brow should be shaded the lightest [mostly white or gold]. Then take a pair of two light shades, apply the lighter one all over the unshaded area. Take the other 'darker' shade and apply only right above the lashes, uptil the crease of the eye. Put on your eye-liner %26amp; then mascara.

If you have a pair of wide eyes [very large eyes], you should put on darker shades. If you have a pair of round eyes, put on the standard three shades, again in the lighter-light- dark pattern. Always remember, the area right below the brow should always be light. Which is why professionals only use white or gold shades for that area. Hope I helped :)
No..don't do that unless the colors are light. You'll look kinda eighties..unless thats the goal!

Try a lighter base color over the whole lid and a corresponding darker color in the crease.

If you have fair skin, try a REALLY light creamy color for the base and a brownish mauve for the crease. Apply it lightly and blend with your finger.
Use 3 colors of eye shadow. You can use more but it is not going to make any big improvement.

Dark: This is applied only to the eyelids from the lashline to the crease in the eyelid.

Medium: This is applied from just below the eyelid crease to the browbone. You can, and some techniques do, shade the entire lid with this medium shade first.

Highlight: This is the lightest of the three and is applied to the browbone and extends a little past the outer end of the eyebrow. This usually gives a pearly finish.

3 Steps for eye shadow application

Step-1. Apply the medium shadow first. Refer to medium described above. Note: When applying any makeup, make sure all edges are feathered so the colors just fade away gradually. You do not want any distinct lines showing where a color starts or stops. Blend, Blend, Blend...This is real important! We also recommend using brushes for all the powdery makeup applications. Those little foam things that come with most make up just don't seem to give the feel and control that a good brush does.

Step-2. Apply the dark shade to the eye lid area. It is best to start in the middle of the eye lid and work out towards the outside, cover the entire lid. Blend the crease area in well. If you have a thin eye shadow brush you might want to try darkening the crease area with a little more dark shadow, just along the crease though......gives a different type of effect.

Step-3. Apply first coat of highlighter to brow bone. There are many other techniques of applying eyeshadow. You may want to research other techniques, as some techniques are better suited for certain facial characteristics.

I think a big mistake women make when applying eyeshadow is not blending. My favorite way to make sure it's well-blended is to start with the lightest color and go to the darkest. Get the placement of the colors where you want them (typically, darker in the crease, but I'll talk about this later). Then, go back over your darker shadow with your lighter ones. So, light to dark and then back up to light, covering your whole lid with the lightest shadow. This will get rid of any harsh lines and also make sure your shadow isn't too dark. It's a great intensity controller.

As far as placement of shadows, you want to look at your eye shape. The ideal shape (or so they say) is almond. If you have that, you can do quite a few options - darker in the crease, darker on the outer corners, a light wash all over - almost anything goes for that eye shape. For other eye shapes, you're trying to manipulate the shadow to make your eyes more almond-shaped. Here are some examples (though by no means an exhaustive list):

Deep-set: don't use a dark crease color - this emphasizes your deep-set eyes. Instead try a medium tone on your lid

Close-set: try putting high-lighter under your brow and in the inner corners of your eyes. Instead of a dark crease color, try using your dark color on the outer corners of your eyes.

Wide-set: this is one of the only eye-shapes where you want to use a darker color on the inside corners to draw your eyes together

Round: try using a darker color on your outer corners to elongate the eye. Don't line the bottom lid - this emphasizes the roundness

Small: don't use too much dark shadow as this closes in the eye. Try a medium shade on the outer corners.

Asian: don't try to make a crease with shadow, it's usually unnatural-looking. Instead, play up your beautiful eye shape by focusing on your lash line and mascara.

Again, this doesn't cover everybody and these are pretty much basics - there are NEVER rules in make-up, just starting points. If you're completely lost, this might help you out.

    As far as eyeshadow colors go, a good place to start is to complement your eye color. Blue and green eyes look great with warm brown shadow, brown eyes look gorgeous with purples or blues. Play around with color and see how it affects your eye color. (For example, I have blue-green eyes. When I wear brown shadow, they look more blue and when I wear purple, they look more green.) For everyday, you want something that makes people say, ';Wow, look at her eyes!'; not, ';Wow, look at her eyeshadow.';

How do you wear eyeshadow im a beginner?

Im Like Kinda Tannish %26amp; What Kind Of Eyeshadow Shall I Wear ?How do you wear eyeshadow im a beginner?
A shimmery peach or golden color would look great if you have a bit of a tan. So just play around with colors that you like and try on some that you wouldn't normal think to wear you just might like them! Also, don't be afraid the experiment....it's just make up!! And the cardinal rule of makeup....there are no rules....just remember to blend!! LOL Have FunHow do you wear eyeshadow im a beginner?
You should wear neutral eyeshadows to start out. Neutral eyeshadows are like skin tone colors. For example ';Kid'; from MAC is a nice neautral color that can be used in the crease or on the lid. To apply eye shadow you can use many movements. Depending on the way you want your makeup to look you can use a patting motion with the brush or you can use a side to side motion for more of a packed on look. Also make sure to blend and use a primer like Urban Decay Primer Potion to make sure by the end of the day your eyeshadow doesn't ';crease'; or have powder flakes by your crease. You would put the UDPP on before you put on your eyeshadow. For more eyeshadow you should look at some of these websites:

If you want to start out with drugstore brands you can always go to a Rite-Aid or CVS or Walgreens or ULTA to get makeup. At ULTA it is cheaper to get makeup. They have almost every drugstore brand and Benefit which I highly reccomend.
its best to experiment. if you want a simple glow you might want to go with a light gold. but that is for you to decide. :]

How do you keep eyeshadow from rubbing off by the end of the day!?

-.- i normally don't wear it because i dont like to. but how do you keep it on? (powder) anything to apply before or after applying it!How do you keep eyeshadow from rubbing off by the end of the day!?
Put a bit of powder foundation or setting podwer on your eyelids before applying the shadow. If you use liquid foundation that works too, but try to set it with a bit of loose powder. How do you keep eyeshadow from rubbing off by the end of the day!?
Exactly. Pressed powder beforehand will give the eyeshadow something to adhere to.
Use a primer...an excellent one is Urban Decay Primer Potion which you can get from Sephora. It's a little pricey but a little goes a long way. It keeps the color true and no matter how oily your eyelids are the shadow will not crease or smudge. If you have a CVS Pharmacy near you..you can try their Lumene eyebase which is cheaper but works just as well.
an eyeshadow primer, like urban decay's, would also work in addition to putting on a sheer powder on top once you finish.

you may also want to try a cream based shadow, which are more expensive, but would work for you if you don't use shadows that often because they last a really long time, both on the shelf and on the eye. MAC, and Nars both have good colors, and the Shesiedo hydropodwer shadows are among the best in the industry.
I think you could also go with a higher end eyeshadow, since you dont wear it often it would actually pay off in the end for you. I havent tried any yet but I hear the stuff Arbonne has is real good. If you want I can connect you with a friend who can talk with you about it, just send me an email. =)

    Good luck!
heres how: DONT WEAR IT. by following my own inspiriation, i am smudge freeeee!!! wow brookie you ask lots-o-questions regarding makeup. its a wonder how you still have enough points to ask questions lol

I am not crazy but after you put it on take clear lip gloss and apply a small amount on your eyelid then sit there for 2-3 minuets with your eye closed to let it set in

How can I put eyeshadow/eyeliner on when I have a small crease?

I'm not asian, I just have a really small eye crease. You can only see about a quarter of my eyelid, so it's really hard to put eyeshadow and eyeliner on without it looking weird. Not wearing anything isn't an option either because I play a part in a school play that requires me to wear really dark and heavy eye makeup.

If you don't know what I'm talking about it looks something like what these people have.

just practice putting a really thin line. thick lines aren't very attractive anyhow.

stage make up is different from regular make up. you're supposed to put it on thick and dark, and it doesn't look nice up close. the lights are so bright and the people sit so far away you need a lot of make up so your face isn't like a ghost.

you should be happy that you have big eyes, you probably don't need any eyeliner anyhow.

What is the diffrence between a MAC USA eyeshadow from the Canada Mac eyeshadow?

    they have different prices

    haha

=)What is the diffrence between a MAC USA eyeshadow from the Canada Mac eyeshadow?
    It the same .

    It made by Kryolan makeup.

Think Kryolan Berlin - Germany make it all there .

I be told it be made there ,.What is the diffrence between a MAC USA eyeshadow from the Canada Mac eyeshadow?
I don't think there is a difference in the actual eyeshadow or eye shadow quallity. Its more like one distributes to one country and one to the other country.
Its the same Company its all the same, but they have diffrent products in each country, town, place. Yes. Mac is more expensive in Canada, but price isnt a big diffrence.

What colors of eyeshadow should i try?

I have super white/pale skin and blue eyes and i have sooo much eyeshadow i never use, i have like every color there is. I usually wear a light shimmery blue or pink on a daily basis but i'm looking for new, good looking ways or colors to wear and use.

So, which colors should i use/expiriment with? I have silver/gray, orange, dark blue, turquiose, green, pink, purple, etc. (yeah most of them are bright tacky colors)

ideas please, thanks :)What colors of eyeshadow should i try?
since you are pale you will want to avoid pinks/reds, these can make you look like your eyes are swollen. purple, silver, blue, and turquoise would look nice with blue eyes, or even just a natural skin color. What colors of eyeshadow should i try?
Choose an eye shadow that complements your blue eyes. Shades in the brown, rose and violet families are best. The warm hue of these shades contrasts with the cold tone of your blues to really make them pop. Use a shade that is darker in tone than your eye color to make your baby blues shine
Try a jewel tone, like a mermaid green or a purple, and only use it only your lash line rather than your entire eye lid. This will give you a splash of bold colour without looking too over the top. If you get over eyeshadow, try a coloured eye liner for something special :D
browns would look good if you wanted a more natural look, especially with your pale skin

your lucky though blue eyes look good with any color

    mine?

    http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;鈥?/a>
all shades of brown would look nice, light purples and lavenders, golds and silvers and light pinks.

also what looks nice with blue eyes is an orange/copper color!

    black liner looks good too!
i have no idea but i like green

Can you give me a crazy cool color of eyeshadow to wear with my blue eyes?

i like experiment. ya know like browns...purple..green..pink..etc.

but i want to try something totally new!

and you can give me a way to put on eyeliner too...if you want.

i sometimes wear it. usually only a little along my lashline. Can you give me a crazy cool color of eyeshadow to wear with my blue eyes?
ooh do gold and light blue

put the gold on the inside of your lid, and the blue on the outside, but blend them together in the middle so its not chunky looking. Can you give me a crazy cool color of eyeshadow to wear with my blue eyes?
Ok, I have the PERFECT eye routinue for you! This look is great for blue eyes and good for the summer!

    1. Use Copper eyeliner on the insides of your top and bottom lashes. Then use a teal eyeliner on the outsides of your top and bottom lashes.

    2. Use a teal eyeshadow on your eyelids and then a copper eyeshadow on your crease.

    3. Last, use black mascara to finish the look.
i have blue eyes too. and when im wearing something kind of bland with very little coor i really like to go crazy with my eyeshadow. you could do something like a red or hot pink on the corner of your eyes and then take an orange and blend it into a bright yellow that shows up on your skin, kind of reminiscent of a sunset. it sets your eyes on fire if youre looking for a little fun.
start with silver then blend into a dark purple,

add liquid eyeliner close to the lash line then make it flick out. just a tiny tiny flick and thin not think. and make it curve with your eyelid.+ add loads of mascara.

oh and add 3 tiny tiny dots under the flick. just to be adventurous ;)
Try some Kryolan, you can buy it on ebay. They have some crazy cool colors. ..or you can go with MAC they have a variety of shades to chose from...here is someones myspace that can show you some ideas..http://www.myspace.com/iheart_makeupartc鈥?/a>

What color of eyeshadow goes best with a red dress?

i have brown eyes and dark brown hair, i don't know if that matters a lot. thanks! What color of eyeshadow goes best with a red dress?
what makes the difference is you lip color. Are you going with a bold red lip like the dress? or with a more nude or neutral lip?

if the lip and the dress are red then go with a shimmery gold eyeshadow and a black eyeliner. if the lip is neutral then go for a smoky eye. it can be done with blacks and grays, but you can also do it with dark browns bronzes and golds. give it a try!

I put some links to pictures in the source sectionWhat color of eyeshadow goes best with a red dress?
Since the dress is a bold color, I would go easy on the eyes. Perhaps a champagne, beige with gold hues, or soft pearl/brown eyeshadow. I would also add mascara and line the top of the eyes to add shape.
Being a cosmetology major, I would say a textured brown with gold specks and black(smokey grey) in the crease, heavy mascara, full face makeup, and your favorite lip gloss.

    : )

    KrystLe
go with neutral colors - beige - brown- bronze -gold (etc.) with heavy mascara - it will definitely make your eyes stand out!!!!
    neutral with eyeliner and mascara?

  • Can you use hand sanitizer to mix 2 different eyeshadow together?

like i mixed 2 purple eyeshadow together using hand sanitizer?? can i do that or not??Can you use hand sanitizer to mix 2 different eyeshadow together?
    NO...you'll blind yourself!!!

------- don't use alcohol around your eyes!!!!

use vasiline insteadCan you use hand sanitizer to mix 2 different eyeshadow together?
Hand sanitiser contains isopropyl alcohol, which should NEVER go near your eyes when wet. DO NOT DO IT!!

On the other hand, isopropyl alcohol can be used to press eyeshadows, so you could blend 2 eyeshadows by crumbling them up, wetting them with isopropyl alcohol, pressing them into an eyeshadow pan and leaving them to dry completely. You would completely ruin both your eyeshadows, but yes you would get a new colour.
I am looking at a bottle of sanitizer right now and it says ';Do not use in the eyes. In case of contact, rinse eyes thoroughly with water.'; I am sure you wouldn't want to put something near your eye that you would have to rinse out immediately if it got in.

Okay so like my friend forgot to put on eyeshadow today. What should I do?

Okay should I take some pudding and use that as eyeshadow? Will it like infect her eye? Do you think my boyfriend will get mad? Because I would use his strawberry pudding. I am so confused. What should I do?Okay so like my friend forgot to put on eyeshadow today. What should I do?
What a tragedy!! Crush up a #2 pencil and make a nice smokey gray shadow, or find a nice colored piece of chalk! Check the art room!!! It won't infect her eye, I don't think, but might sting, so be careful and put it on the LID not IN the eye, silly!!!Okay so like my friend forgot to put on eyeshadow today. What should I do?
You should simply give up - all is now lost - perhaps take yourown life? perhaps just sit in a dark room all day and do nothing? - perhaps go to middle school and get off the computer?

no, I don't think pudding is a good idea. that is not as good as eyeshadow and it will look horrible. I think your boyfriend would laugh.
I say use his strawberry pudding but go pick some more strawberries to replace it.

blue, and nice gray color, or smoky black.

if done nicely i think gray looks great. with black mascara perfect.

I would guess like dark blue and/or heather gray!

What color of eyeshadow makes hazel/brown eyes look good.?

i have pretty tan skin and i want my eyes to look good. they are big but i don't want them to stand out way to much i want them to look sophisticated but still pretty. if i want to wear green eyeshadow should i wear light green or dark green? and also should i wear eyeliner again im not sure if it looks good cause i already have big eyes so i just need some tips on how to put my eye makeup onWhat color of eyeshadow makes hazel/brown eyes look good.?
if you want a natural look, cover your whole lid with a shimmery nude color and add a brown or bronze eyeliner.

as for wearing green, wear a pale green eyeshadow (like mint by bobbi brown) and put a medium brown shade on the outer corner and in the crease.

try using purples! lavenders accentuate your eye color. you may also wish to use a deep purple eyeliner and/or mascara.

(:What color of eyeshadow makes hazel/brown eyes look good.?
if u wear a cranberry color on the inner part of ur eyelid and then blend it into whatever other color eyeshadow ur wearing you will really make the green in ur eyes pop...=)

  • Are coatal scents eyeshadow pallettes really worth it?

I know people make a big deal about them but I went on the website and the colors on the palettes look like eyeshadow that i find in the dollar store I really want to try them but i don't know If i can't see them in person. Are coatal scents eyeshadow pallettes really worth it?
I have two of the Coastal Scents eyeshadow palettes: the 88 matte palette, and the 28 neutral palette. I've been using them since December and I would definitely recommend them for someone just starting to really get into makeup. Although the eyeshadows are somewhat small, the majority of them have excellent payoff. I'll admit, there are a few that barely show up on my skin, but for the price, you really can't complain. In my opinion, start experiment with these palettes before buying brand name eyeshadows, which can be super pricey. Are coatal scents eyeshadow pallettes really worth it?
I love mine. I have the 88 palette and the neutral. Go to youtube and type in coastal scents reviews. Watch some of the videos of girls using coastal scents eyeshadows on their eyes. Then you'll know if you should buy it or not before you spend your money.
yep, but i don't like the shimmer palette. it's not smooth.

I have pale skin, Hazel eyes (that change colour according to the light) and dark brown hair. i also have freckles on my face.

what colour of eyeshadow should i wear? What colour of eyeshadow suits me?
You should try a smoky grey or a natural shade. Smoky grey looks great on almost all eye colors! It will bring out the hazel : )What colour of eyeshadow suits me?
Maybe a smoky brown/dark plum would be a good look for you? And perhaps try to blend it with a bright colour to make your eyes pop and bring colour to your face.

Try going to a MAC cosmetics store, they make great products and the MA's will be sure to help you out. Have fun ! :)
Not black!!!!! I cannot stress that enough. Freckles and black to not combine well.

Use a light to medium shades of brown with some greens mixed in. Jewel colors are great on pale skin... trust me, Im Irish lol. Pinks and peaches are great if you dont have to many warm undertones.
defiantly a purple or a plum! purple tones bring out the lightest of hazel or brown eyes. You might wanna try alamy eye color match kit. It has a step by step instruction on how to apply your eye shadow and it gives you the colors that go best.
definatly purples. I have the same features as you, and any types of purples look good on me, and really bring out my eyes.
light blue , my cousin and i were play'n wit make up an she has a face like you i put it on her, and it looks gr8

use and ';eggplant'; color eyeliner, a light violet on lower lids and a med brown on eyes from top fold to brow (not sure what that is called...is it part of the lid?) highlight right under brow with a shimmer/white eyeshadow (lightly)

top off with a thin layer of black mascara...

really does make brown eyes STAND out.

I have a white skin but not too white and i have brown eyes and they are not too darkWhat color of eyeshadow should I buy ?
Definetley being a makeup artist, for BROWN EYES I use Green it really makes brown eyes pop BEAUTIFULLY! with some black liner. If you wanna be really subtle a shimmery cream color with a yellowish undertone really looks great as a neutral. Have fun!!!What color of eyeshadow should I buy ?
Im pretty much like you. And I use eye shawdow that is light then my skin.

We wouldnt look good in like really dark red or sumtn.

PPl like us look good in naturual colors. LIke Light brown,Light pink, and snowy peachy colors :]

I would go with light purple a very soft shade and a light brown... go to that almay line and they have those shades to help bring out your eye color, those are the colors i think they have for light brown eyes, one of my best friends has it and it looks really good on her :)
all that glitters is not gold
pale pink or light orange-browns should look good....
I love browns or dark colors. I have pale skin and i think it looks good. have fun with all the colors! There are so many out there! I do enjoy wearing a pale blue once in a while also!!!
    i suggest

a neutral eyeshadow palette for when you want a simple look.

%26amp; shimmery greens, blues, silvers, purples.
    how about black eyeshadow or

mint green. they should really bring out your eyes

    the emo kid

    xXx
i would go with pale pinks because your skin tone is very light dont go with dark shades of colors because you will look very silly
black for smoky eyes [i think black with brown eyes looks really really good!]

maybe some light purples [i have brown eyes and light purples makes my eyes pop!] or light pinks
  • thick hair
  • What color eyeshadow brings out the color of brown eyes??

I use brown eyeshadow but I don't think it makes my eyes pop. Please help!!What color eyeshadow brings out the color of brown eyes??
I would try ';Almay's: Bring out the brown eye'; eyeshadow trio! it's easy to apply and stays on all day! :)What color eyeshadow brings out the color of brown eyes??
purple, any shade is fantastic for brown eyes, use one that suits you and use a highlighter on the browbone, also try a purple tint mascara, you will bring out your inner goddess withthese colours and also highlighter ( white, silver or cream) on the inner eye
Definitely peachy/purple-color shadows. They're great to extenuates brown-eyes. Brown eye shadows are nice but the reason why they do not make your eyes pop because they are the same color (but different shade) than your eyes so everything just flow along.
    purple!

purple is great for brown eyes.

almay makes a product that has eyeshadow and liner for certain eye colors. you should try it..if not just aim for purples..silvers are also great as well as a good greeny tone.

but also don't forget the color of your skin, if a eyeshadow color washes you out..don't use it!
    Peach/gold!
purple i guess like everyone else said.... but like a cream purple not too dark like you have a brused eye! well hope you get purple.!
i have brown eyes too and i usually wear like a pinkish purpleish color on my eyes and it really brings them out.
lilac shows up well so does a sage green but only put it on the outer edges of eyes and use a very light highlight with it.
tan would be the color to bring out brown eyes because the brown in the eyes are already dark. to much darkness in the eyes doesn't look good.

    Good Luck to ya.

I hope ya find what your looking for.
purple ish color. if u use gold and light orange or peachy colors, that helps too
    Purple and gold
Almost any color goes great with brown eyes! Purples, greens, blues, pinks...brown is like the neutral for eye colors. Experiment and have fun!

What colour eyeshadow best suits a person with green eyes?

    most deffinatly purple.

It makes your eyes look a brighter green and it really makes them stand out, almost like cats eyes. What colour eyeshadow best suits a person with green eyes?
Mostly light greens, and sometimes pinks. Try to stay away from purplesWhat colour eyeshadow best suits a person with green eyes?
I use either white(which looks really pretty) or light green. I sometimes use a light purple or pink. Look in Seventeen or Mags like that for more help.
I have green eyes %26amp; a light purple suits them just fine.
    I checked in Seventeen mag.

It is violet, and light brown, tan.
Depends what style your going for maybe greys, golds, or purple
    browns, greens and purples
I have green eyes so my answer is brown.
    green, blue, or black

then it makes your eyes really stand out or 'pop'
never use purple it looks like you just got punched in the face!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!鈥?if you have green eyes then i suggest you use a gold..................... or a light green, dont use black it looks emo and if u look emo once it can change ur life 4ever!!!!!!!!!!!!! miss.netty95@yahoo.com

p.s. underneath is a pic!!!!!!!!!!!!!! good luck
Well for green eyes, I would use a smooky eye, greys, blacks, and dark greens. and maybe with the right outfit a dark maroon. i hope this helps.

What color eyeshadow would go best with blue eyes?

to bring out blue eyes : coppery, peach, gold, shimmery brown tones, use bronze liner, and black mascara. avoid blue, pink, purple, grey, and silver tones, they wash out blue eyes. What color eyeshadow would go best with blue eyes?
pinkWhat color eyeshadow would go best with blue eyes?
What eyeshadow that looks best depends not so much on your eye color as much as what you wear, your skin tone and your hair color. I have blue eyes, strawberry blonde hair and medium skin color...I can wear almost any eye shadow color. If I'm wearing blues, greys or blakc, I use grey, silver, light blue eye shadows and dark navy eye liner or charcoal with black mascara to bring out my eyes...If I'm wearing neutrals, browns, reds, or corals, I wear beige, brown, and pinks with brown or olive eyeliner and brown/black mascara to bring out my eyes.
    silver, gold, sparkles, white.

anything shimmery will really make them pop!

my friend wore black mascara and a little bit of silver sparkles on her eyelids and it looked amazing and really brought out the blue!
Well, I know that if u have blue eyes, then u have to wear the oppsite like brown, light brown, khaki and like not the same as your eye color, it wont bring out your eyes.
Gold, Silver, Peach, Pink and Brown.
almay makes eyeshadow to match your eyes.
a shiny blue or white matches really good and so does light brown. depending on what your wearing, gold and silver would go too.
green... my friend has bright blue eyes and she wears green and its really pretty.... also pair it with a darker blue liner and black mascara
    brown, gold, light blue.
    A metalic golish brown..

    Try the ';impress'; shade that

    lancome makes.

Its amazing and really makes blue eyes pop

    :]Goodluck

    Cemi.
definitely gold or silver.dont go with shades of ur eye color as they may look subtle and wont bring the beauty of eyes.

    http://xed.xanga.com/b24d6624d2633128623鈥?/a>
For icy blue, definitely silver or iridescent white

For more of a deep blue, try blacks or greys, and maybe a metallic gold.

    good luck
I would use a light shimmery tan color as a base (such as MAC cosmetics Shroom), and then go with a chocolatey brown for your crease (such as MAC Woodwinked). Everytime I use color combinations like this I get compliments on how pretty my eyes are!
    blue.

    a light brown.

    pink.

or maybe if u like black.

a black color or a charcoal

What colour eyeshadow goes best with blue eyes?

try like silver tones, or blue. Use the blue as just to highlight and black to use at night would really make your eyes stand out. What colour eyeshadow goes best with blue eyes?
bronzeWhat colour eyeshadow goes best with blue eyes?
Orange and peach really make the blue pop!
i think different colours, i like grey or silver.
Browns and golds are definitely the best colours for blue eyes.

If you think about if you had a blue top what colour trousers/skirt would you wear to go with it.
To be honest, it doesnt really matter about the eye color. It only matters on what you are wearing and how you apply it. I have one green eye and one brown eye and not only that but I am a makeup artist aswell. I never follow the rules because rules are meant to be broken, ecspecially when its talking about making you look better. Remember: Learn to apply your eye shadow and also learn to blend it in well. Another tip is to put a cream shadow underneath it to help it last longer. It doesnt have to be the same color as the eye shadow... dont be afraid to experiment. Have fun!
i have blue eyes and i wear earth colours darker in the crease of your eye, looks stunning as brings out the blue in your eyes, i also add green just above the upper lashes when i go out to make my eyes stand out
    sliver
    pink/purple.
Blue eyeshadow looks great on blue eyes, because it brings out the colour of them. Also, brown or gold looks nice on blue eyes, as well.
i would say ocean green or a sparkly purple.
grey, charcoal, dark browns, orange(mac has an orange color)and light blue .
Brown or green eyeshadoow will make blue eyes pop. Stay away from blue.
    brown believe it or not
Browns, pinks, silvers, greys, golds and bronzes.
browns, neutrals, or if you want a daring evening look try a smoky grey. very sultry.
Darker colours are better. Browns and greens are supposed to compliment blue eyes well although I never wear brown. I wear silvers, greys and charcoal. They really make the blueness of my eyes stand out...
Apparently, according to this website, it is golden-brown!

    http://www.makeupsense.com/eyes/eyeshado鈥?/a>

    I hope this helpsx
you dont mention what type of blue if you have sea blue then very pale shimmery green..... grey blue then grey....... light blue cream would go but your best to buy some cheap shadows and experiment tie your hair back so you can focus on your eyes more and decide yourself dont ask some ones opinion of what looks best if you feel comfortable with the colour then that's the best choice has it also depends on the shape of your face
gold and brown. orange if your daring. what ever you do don't use blue shadow with blue eyes...especially a shade a blue that matches your eyes. but if you have to do blue go with a dark blue
Black or/and dark blue will really bring your eyes out!! ( Go for mac and benifit)
i have blue eyes and i use a lovely blue shimmery colour form avon it brings out the blue in my eyes. browns are also good for an evening look as are smokey greys or silver. always use eyeliner i navy for blue or blac for greys and silvers and blend in for smokey sultry look

hope that helps...also just experiment, thats what i did even after being told not to wear blue...its really what you feel comfortable with....good luck.have fun!
    BLACK
I used to wear blue and silver, but recently had a makeover and the lady used brown and bronze shadow, and it looked good.
the best one to suit my blue eyes is a dark grey on the lower lid...... a dark blue in the corners and light blue on the top half it does bring your eye colour out but dont put too much on
    Grey.
Yew Can Go Here %26amp;%26amp; See What Colours Suit Yur Hair, Skin %26amp;%26amp; Eyes..x Good Luck!
Darker shade of blue, silver, turquoise, fuschia
Turquoise and greens.they make your eyes look there best.
    definitly blue,green or silver

if you have deep blue eyes dark blue or silver would be nicest

if you have light or greyish blue eyesanice sky blue light green or shimmery silver is gorgeous.
i hard that purple makes the blue stand out more.

What color eyeshadow goes dirty/golden blonde hair, fair (warm undertone) skin, green eyes?

I can't find any that don't make it look like I have multicolored bruises on my eyes? HELPWhat color eyeshadow goes dirty/golden blonde hair, fair (warm undertone) skin, green eyes?
i have all of those traits lmaoo

i use dark brown eyeliner on my top lid and light brown eyeliner on my bottom lid and i use my powder as my eyeshadow and black mascara and foundation on any trouble spots around my face and that works for me and it looks very naturalWhat color eyeshadow goes dirty/golden blonde hair, fair (warm undertone) skin, green eyes?
Maybe like a metallic light brown to bring out any darker shades that you may have in your hair, plus you have green eyes, so it looks good when you contrast your eye color:)
Go with shimmery browns...a lighter shade of taupe on your eyelid...a very light shimmery shade on the part of the eyelid closest to your nose...and darker shade of brown just in the crease. Don't put any shadow on all the way to the brow...that makes people look like clowns!
    I am the same color.

I use greens, purples, browns and gold and different variations of these.
    http://www.cozycot.com/files/revlon_colo鈥?/a>

Try that set. It has four different colors that are good for light hair because they don't stand out so much to make your eyes seem dark and grungy. They blend to create and subtle warming effect. Use the brown or champagne color over your whole eye lid to set a even color. Then use the darkest (grayish black) on the crease of your eye to create depth. Use the white on the brow bone and the corners of your eyes to make them look bright and opening.

Too stay away from the ';multicolored bruise look'; take a soft eye shadow brush to blend the colors. Blending the shadows helps so that the difference in the colors isn't so harsh. The colors should flow.

The name of that set is Color Stay by Revlon.

You should be able to find it at any local drug store. :)
Maybe a gold or a brown.

Or try a maroon or some kind of purple.
I have the same coloring as you kind of, but golden/strawberry blonde (most people just say gold), medium warm undertone skin, and green/blue eyes (almost turquoise). I especially like gold as a highlighter on the lids, because it plays up our warm undertones that blondes usually don't have. Otherwise I apply white cream shadow and then whatever color powder I choose. This creates a better base so the colors are stronger and don't look like skin discolorations. Also, I use Lancome eyeshadow. Anything with higher pigment (usually more expensive) will show up better. I only buy liquid eyeliner and eyeshadow in Lancome, the rest of my make up is drug store brands. For daily make up, usually just the gold highlighter on the lids, eyeliner, and mascara. The white cream base shadow adds a punch to the color.

  • What Eyeshadow Brush Do You Recommend?

I've been considering the MAC 231 Brush but is there a good cheaper alternative? Thanks

PS: Anyone use the Avon one? What Eyeshadow Brush Do You Recommend?
Hands down, the best eyeshadow brush I have ever used has been by E.L.F. This eyeshadow brush is amazing, because it picks up the perfect amount of color, it's great quality, and it never sheds when I was. After I wash the brush, it still stays soft just how it was when I first got it. I have had this brush for about 5 years, and it's still good as new.

But the best part is that the E.L.F. eyeshadow brush only costs $1.00!

Here is the link from the E.L.F. website where you can find out more about it, and purchase.

I wouldn't recommend Bush for anything he screwed up this country by send soldier to war and I'm shocked that people like you supported him. Do you have a family member in Iraq Ha do ya. I didn't think so. Thats all I gotta say
I don't think the first person who answered your question even read your question, that's kind of funny to read his answer for a makeup question. I just use the brush that comes with the makeup. Sorry I couldn't be more help.
Well Mac is one of the best cosmetic industries but for sonething cheaper I recommend ';Bourjois'; because it's cheaper but the quality is still very good..
Yes, I have two of the Avon eyeshadow brushes and they are ok. I wish they were more dense though. You could go to Avon's website and type in eyeshadow brushes to get more reviews.
a toothbrush would probably be the cheapest, but you might have to deal with some nasty comments at work ;)

Stila Eyeshadow or Bare Minerals? Or a different brand from Sephora?

I have stila eyeshadows in cloud and coco and love them, and bare minerals foundation which I love too. However, I'm thinking of trying bare minerals eyeshadows and trying out a more natural look. How do you like Bare minerals? Do you like Stila better? How about other brands available from Sephora? What colors are your favorites and from which brand?

I have brown hair, green eyes, and medium skin. I usually wear brown, purple, or greyish eyeshadows. What other colors might I want to try out?

Thank you for your opinion!Stila Eyeshadow or Bare Minerals? Or a different brand from Sephora?
i love bare minerals shadows, you can layer, or blend them, or wear with glimmers, the possibilities are endless. i adore their liner shadows, they last really long. just go to sephora, or ulta, and try everything out, to see, how it looks on you, before spending your money.Stila Eyeshadow or Bare Minerals? Or a different brand from Sephora?
Stila by far. Bare Minerals is easy but the color tones are so generic that they look decent but not amazing. Go to Sephora and have the Stila person do a mini makeover. They will suggest colors that look good - I have similar tones and wear a lot of silver with purple over it that the Stila guy at Sephora suggested and I love it!
I like Stila very much, other brand to try from Sephora are Nars, Smashbox, Shiseido, Laura Mercier(only some stores) and believe or not Clinique. They stay on pretty well and have a nice colors. For your green eyes colors would be nice are shades of purple, including purpulish pinks. Also Peach, green and shades of brown and gold. I would stay away from blues. Hope it helps.
if you like bright eyeshadows, Urban Decay has really bright ones, i have the purple one, it's very bold.

i like the stila eyeshadows, haven't tried bare minerals.

for green eyes, the brown to green tones look best.

NYC Sparkle eye dust. They have tons of colors and it feels super soft. It comes with a brush and looks great for a day of shopping or a night out. It works the same as MAC's eye dust, but it's way more inexpensive. I love it.
I have Maybelline [definitely not spelt right, haha] matte foundation, but it looks cakey %26amp; fake, so I don't suggest buying any of those products.

What eyeshadow would go best with my eye colour? ?

My eyes are kind of, a greenish-blueish colour, sometimes they look really green though, and sometimes they look really blue. i have fair skin, and medium brown hair.

Thanks in Advance !What eyeshadow would go best with my eye colour? ?
    -Choosing An Eyeshadow

These colors are some of the most popular for green eyes.

Try different browns, especially chocolate tones. Browns and dark greens with copper or gold highlights are also a great choice.

Apricots and taupes are good choices for highlighters.

Dark purples, plums and metallics work too. Coppers and golds will make a really glamorous evening look for makeup tips for green eyes. I personally really like the way deep purples look with dark green eyes.

    -Colors To Avoid

When you're learning makeup tips for green eyes, it also helps to know what colors you might want to avoid.

First up, blues. Any color of blue doesn't do green eyes justice. I would recommend avoiding light blues, dark blues and even some colors (purples or pinks) with blue undertones.

Pinks are also a hard color to judge. Some can look really, really good and others can look really, really bad. This is usually a matter of trial and error.

Silvers are not a good choice either. Leave them for the blue eyes.

    -Eyeliner Colors

Unless you really like black eyeliner, it's usually a color to avoid. Try steely grays or chocolate browns. Use gold or white to open up the eye if your eyes are small. What eyeshadow would go best with my eye colour? ?
Well, you should try experimenting with different shades as your eye color changes.

I find purple shades to bring out every eye color and, if applied correctly, looks amazing.

It's all up to yourself, since the way your lids are play a major role as well as the eye shape.
your eyes look best, with olive, black , brown, dark brown, white.

    (:
like a dark brown color i think :) you should go with colors opposite your eye color to make them pop.
any shade of blue, green purple, also try some pinks
    -gold

    -white

    -and blues
    light green
blue, it brings out the green

please look at my poems and rate them, thanks

its hard to say what clothes will suit you.. it all depends on skin tone and body shape but brown eyes and brown hair look good with golds and whites.

  • What eyeshadow(and other makeup) should I be wearing?

I have brown hair, brown eyes, and fair skin(but I use med. concelear ). I want my makeup to be natural and/or subtle but still really pretty. ANY advice is welcome I also need blush, mascara, ect.

Thank You ;)What eyeshadow(and other makeup) should I be wearing?
You sound like you have my type of complexion. If you want it to look natural but pretty I would say go with shades of browns and tans for your eyeshadow. I good color for eyeliner is charcol. mascara black/brown. blush hmm.. maybe a mauve color.. not really pink. What eyeshadow(and other makeup) should I be wearing?
tans and browns would look really go on your eyes.. try matte powder and a neutral lip gloss and keep it natural by going easy on the mascara but only on the top lashes.
purple eysahdow and liner looks great with brown eyes! dont use medium concealer when u use conccealer yr supposed to go one sahde lighter unless yr fair then u go light a little pressed powder lip balm or clear gloss and a mauve colored blush not light pink it looks fake on pale skin trust me use a blush like this http://almay.com/Pg/Main/CatProdDet.aspx鈥?/a>

but get a bigger brush it looks even more natural u cna get a brush for like a few dollars at any drug store

They should help you achieve the look that you need.

This woman is amazing with what she can do.
The best shades for those women with blue eyes are: orange, pink, blue, brown, violet, white, toffee, caramel and gold, silver , grey and black ...

If you add a bit of a peachy blush and a lighter lip gloss the effect will be glamorous.

If your eyes are blue you should avoid applying eye shadows with green or red hues.
i think a dark green ( but not to dark ) will look nice. like grace adler from will and grace. try it! :))
I'm in love without the make-up....my favorite hair color and eyes!

Actually, I think they recommend not using blue eye shadow on your eye color and skin tone. I thought I saw a show that used a mild brown for a girl like you. Check with a make-up counter at a dept. store to be safe.
For your blue eyes try a color with red and brown pigments in it.. It will be good for the hair and make your eyes stand out alot... Also purple colors are great for your eye color. I use http://www.imedmart.com/search.html?xy=2鈥?/a>

because it's cheap and works great.

I have blue-ish gray eyes, and my favorite colors to use are metallics. Bronze and gold are my favorites, since my skin is pale and they stand out nicely.

Purple is also a great color with blue eyes, but be careful with it if your skin is very pale, though -- it can make you look like somebody gave you a black eye. Try to get something with just a little bit of shimmer to keep the color from looking flat or chalky.
    try a purple.

    i looks good on everyone.

    trust me.

What's the best way to blend eyeshadow?

I've tried blending it on an angled eyeshadow brush %26amp; my palm but neither works. Any suggestions? What's the best way to blend eyeshadow?
What kind of material is the brush made out of? Also, what kind of eyeshadow are you using? Creams are best at blending before they dry. Powders are iffy--if you use a good one like Urban Decay eyeshadow they have a great blending factor. As for the brush, use one made of natural hair and be sure to tap it before applying the product. Always use a makeup brush soap to clean the brush without drying the hairs. If you're vegan or animal friendly they have soft brushes at Sephora that are made of ';teddy bear hair'; which is a very soft material like the animal hair brushes but animal free. As for other things you could use to blend your eyeshadow, sponges and cotton swabs are always worth a try. If you're trying to achieve a specific look provide pictures and it would be easier to decipher. What's the best way to blend eyeshadow?
apply it with your normal eyeshadow brush then use a blending brush like this one http://www.thebodyshop.co.uk/invt/10609%26amp;鈥?/a>

i have this brush and its really good
with a thicker and softer brush!

    Best WIshes
Use liquid eyeshadow rather than pouder; it is less messy and they are usually sold in packs with colors which blend well together.

I do this every day, and I always get compliemnts on my eyeshadow. I used to struggle just as you did. Trust me, this way is easier.
The angel brush is fine, but use the back of your hand.
okay. first you have to put a medium amount of the first color on a small brush. then you get a tissue and dab it once or twice. then put a small to medium amount of the second color on the brush and tap it against your finger to get unwanted extras on the brush. gently smooth on your eyelid, and tah-da! you have blended eyeshadow
I would use cotton swabs or instead of the palm of your hand use your fingertips.
if u use finger, it'll stick to the finger more than the eye. use round eye-shadow brush with soft but firm bristles
I think the best way is butting your eyeshadow color on your finger than blend in your colors and make the colors the way you want them to be. just remember when you use one or two colors wash your finger everytime you use a differnernt color.

    depends on your eye color

What eyeshadow colors do i wear?

what color eyeshadow do you wear with a off white dress and when you have blue eyes? What eyeshadow colors do i wear?
It depends on what you want to do with your eyes.

If you want your eyes to be brighter use a brown eyeshadow with an orange base (don't worry you can get very subtle ones!) because orange is opposite blue in the colour wheel.

Go into MAC buy a base colour and ask them about a subtle brown with an orange base. You can blend it in together and it will really brighten your eyes up!

If you want to create a statement I would go for green and blend it in, but line your eyes. This will create a summery look.

I wouldn't choose pink as it looks a bit tacky and young, However, it can look ok on some people depending on the shade and how it is applied.

Also, never apply eyeshadow in blocks, always blend it.What eyeshadow colors do i wear?
    pink
probally pink or a light blue
gold or pink or silver .....love them all
I would suggest a neutral tone that is darker than your skin but won't overpower your blue eyes. Don't skimp on the black mascara though. Don't forget your eyebrows, they frame your face. Your eyes will shine.

Don't go for that blue yucky stuff that I hoped had gone away in the horrid ';70's. These pictures will be forever.
Go get the almay colors for blue eyes. It really makes them pop. Black and white, you can wear any color eyeshadows and lipsticks with.
I love pink eye shadows and gold, that's what I wear. And with a white dress, gold eyeshadow goes best.
    I would wear MACs eyeshadow in ';expensive pink';
wear brown eyeshadow on your lid and blue right above it on the crease. you should buy that play makeup by maybaline, it has all the makeup for you eyecolor, eyeliner mascara and eyeshadow. i know i love it!
    brown.
  • thick hair
  • What eyeshadow colour should i wear with a chocolate brown dress?

??What eyeshadow colour should i wear with a chocolate brown dress?
greyy blueWhat eyeshadow colour should i wear with a chocolate brown dress?
I'd wear deeper browns on your eyelid, and a deep brown on top. then a subtle black or brown eyeliner, don't overdo it tho!!

Is it OK to wear black eyeshadow AND blackeyeliner, or is it too much?

Also wearing black shirt, if that helps. Is it OK to wear black eyeshadow AND blackeyeliner, or is it too much?
its ok, but it is T00 much.

i think just black eyeliner is enough:):)Is it OK to wear black eyeshadow AND blackeyeliner, or is it too much?
Im guessing your going for the smokey look but you need to put some color in there. Try the black eyeliner and black eyeshadow but mix the eyeshadow with a little dark blue or grayish. Put the color on the lid and then mix the blakc from the corner of the eye to mid lid. That way the corner of your eyes look dark. Try it in your house. And use a brush to mix the colors from the corners. V nessuh is right, thats exactly what i was talking about:)
Black shirt, eyeliner, and mascara and/or eyeshadow is _fine_. However, it must be tastefully done, without too much of either unless you're being professionally photographed, or appearing in some artwork. Tastefulness is always key.
I think its too much black. If I were you I would go for a gray or silver eye shadow with the black eyeliner and black shirt. Using a gray or silver eye shadow will make your eyes pop, and bring more attention to them.
it depends on you skin tone the darker you are the better it looks if you are so light skined like me(im mixed)

there is a lot of contrast! and it stands out.

but if your going for gothic then i Guess so, yeah
It depends on how heavy the makeup is.

    This is ok: http://www.nzgirl.co.nz/images/articles/鈥?/a>

But this is too much: http://i38.tinypic.com/v4mqnr.jpg
wearing them altogether i think is way too much..try a different eye shadow for your eyes, depending on your skin color, play around on what you think looks best on you..(^_^)
it kind of depends on how much.

like all of your eyelid? too much

just a line on the bottom? its okay

deff go with like a little on the top.
Unless you are going to a costume party, skip the black eyeshadow.
wear what u like and be proud .don't worry about what others think

it won't make your life different if they dont like it :-)
Well, if you put it near your eyelid, it'll look mystic and sexy... but if u smudge it all over, you'll look like a raccoon!
DEPENDS IF U REALLY WANY A SMOCKEY EYE BUT YEA IT IS KINDA 2 MUCH
Try doing smokey eye instead of black eyeshadow... If you can pull it off
balance it out with pink or yellow

What are the best blush and eyeshadow?

    Which is the best?

Max Factor (2000 Calorie, Lash Perfection)

    Maybelline Intense XXL

    Covergirl LashExact

    Maybelline(?) Great Lash

I'd prefer answers from people who've used at least two of these brands.

Hope I got them all right, cuz I'm doing this from memory. Also, BLUSH? Inexpensive but good quality-what woudl you suggest? What are the best blush and eyeshadow?
i used to use maybelline intense xxl then kind of grew out if it because of how much time it took to apply each morning. maybelline great lash is a classic and is always going to work, but i got kind of tired of that also. right now i'm using dior maximeyes, which is AMAZING, but about $22 a tube. i also use maybelline lash stylist, which is incredible. i would highly recommend it! it has a different brush, it's a comb instead of an all-around brush. it works well for seperating lashes and still giving tons of volume.

and for blush, try neutrogena healthy skin blends. i have the normal blush as well as the bronzer, both work great! they both look really natural and aren't too expensive.

hope all works out! What are the best blush and eyeshadow?
    one word M.A.C!
    maybelline xxl...rimmel has excellent blush
I like Avon, but Maybelline intenes XXL is the best.
Can't go wrong with Max Factor or Revlon! Right now, though, I am using Avon Daring Curves and it's ok, better than some of the other Avon mascaras. Stay away from Avon' s Daring Definition! It really flakes off, terrible for contact wearers such as myself. I personally can't stand Maybelline Great Lash, did nothing for my lashes.

As far as blushes go, I have found a bronzing powder to look far more natural especially when applied with a big fluffy brush. Right now, I am using Avon Shimmer Swirls in Sun Bronzed and love it. It has six different shades in the same family so you can really customize the color you put on your face. I think it runs for around $6. Good luck and have fun!

I don't like Avon mascara at all. Cover Girl is good, I have used it since I was a teenager. Max Factor is good. But always go back to Cover Girl. The Maybelline I use is Volume Express, don't care to much for its hard to remove.
I prefer the Maybelline Intense XXL because it delivers on its promises. I also like Max Factor Lash Perfection, and the CoverGirl LashExact. The brushes are awesome! I don't like Great Lash at all because I've found that it flakes off. For the abolute best mascara in the world, try to splurge on Benefit Bad Gal. It makes a woman feel glamorous!

For blush, I turn to Benefit Dallas. I know it is a little pricier, but it's well worth it. It looks natural, and it goes on much more smoothly than drugstore brands. But if you have to turn to mass-market, try L'Oreal. Nice selection, decent product.
I've tried all those brands of mascara and I have to say that covergirl lash exact waterproof formula is the best one I've found. it holds a curl all day, makes lashes look so lush and long, and doesn't flake or smudge or otherwise.

Most blushes are equal in my opinion; there are only so many shades of peach, red, and pink out there. My favorite drugstore blushes: jane blushing cheeks in petal, loreal blush delice in sugar plum, revlon cream blush in just peachy

P.S. hate hate hate great lash. its like black dye. doesn't do anything except tint your lashes, flakes/clumps/ewww
pur element eye shadow, it turns into lip gloss, manicure, and everything else
    get help
Personally, Avon's Daring curves macara it is fast and easy to use also stays put all day. Avon's True color blush -it won't fade and stays true all day. And finally Avon's eye shadow duos and quads... They blend together very well to bring out your eye color.
I usually use Chanel or Lancome. Nice even coverage and smells nice
For the money you can't beat Maybelline Great Lash Mascara and Neutrogena Blush.
    max factor
I don't like Avon, but I think I liked Covergirl. I use Maybelline Intense XXL. It works pretty well. I use Rimmel eye shadows. Jane blush, color- Glow and Earth...really pretty for all skin tones.

What is the best brand of eyeshadow?

I am a 16 year old girl with PALE white skin long dark brown hair and brown eyes..what COLORS would work on me and what brands are good for SENSITIVE skin and are EASY TO TAKE OFF?What is the best brand of eyeshadow?
Estee Lauder all the way....try it out.....

it may be expensive but its worth it!What is the best brand of eyeshadow?
M.A.C has nice eyeshadows in a variety of sorted colors. Comes right off with soap and water, and lasts all day long. I think they are $14-16 dollars though, but it is WORTH IT!
With brown eyes you have an advantage, because all colors look good on brown eyes. Go with what you are comfortable wearing or coordinate with the color of clothes you are wearing. I like Mary Kay eye shadow, it doesnt crease as bad. Really easy to take off, I suggest using the Mary Kay oil free eye makeup remover. Takes all eye makeup off gently and conditions your eye lashes.
Urban Decay has the best eyeshadows in the world. I have extremly sensitive skin and they never give me any problems. i get compliments on my eyeshadows ever days eriously there stuff rocks you can buy the eyeshadows at any Ulta store and some times they have a compact so you can tru out what colors you like, or the people that work there would love to help you and give you a little make over. good luck P.S. Mac has the ebst lipsticks and lip glosses

Should I wear brown or purple eyeshadow on my wedding day?

Though I say so myself, i'm pretty good at doing make up but I just can't decide between the 2!Should I wear brown or purple eyeshadow on my wedding day?
I think it is a matter of what color you are wearing. If you are wearing white go with the purple, if you are wearing ivory- brown would be best.Should I wear brown or purple eyeshadow on my wedding day?
I would have to say it depends on the color of your eyes. If your eyes are blue or gray, then go with brown. It will make them stand out. If you eyes are green, hazel, or brown, then purple. It will make those color of eyes pop! Congrats! It's your day, so, do what ever you are comfortable with. I wouldn't try something brand new and then have it back fire.
I would say go with the warm tones for your wedding day....
I would definately go with the brown shade, its alot more neutral, especially with a wedding dress.
I'd say brown, it highlights eyes more than purple
definatly browning purple is too uhhhhhh not uhhhhhh formal
i think warm tones, go with the brown and gold. If you are going to go for the purple, make sure its like lavander not some outregeous 80's purple more suited for a 14 year olds fancy dress party.

Good luck on you wedding day

Do one of each and ask honest friends what they think.

Remember, when you look back at your photos in a few years, I guarantee you will find your current choices hilarious!
I would go with the color that best shows off your eyes, although, less is more on a day like a wedding. Depends on your skin tone, buy you could make the brown go really well and stay light with it.

    Congrats!
Either, just dont wear anything too shimmery or like a highlighter, it will not look as good in the photos. Slap it on as well!
i am doing make up course nd the browns are better and natural you are better to apply it then dampen your brush a little more add some more colour to make it more out standing but not to much hope you have a really good day
I would wear a copper brown. marykay makes a similiar color called Luck Penny. It really makes your eyes pop.
definitely go for brown - its more classic and when you look back at the photos in 10 years time it will not look dated.
I think brown it's more natural and you'll look more like a princess on your special day...cinderella never wore purple eyeshadow!!! LOL
It depends on which color goes better with your dress, color of eyes, and color of your skin. I would prefer purple if u are light skin color and purple if u are dark skin color.

    Congratulations for your wedding!
    brown
i would say brown because it's more neutral.

i'm not sure how purple your shadow is though... so i would just go with brown.
purple of course.I had the same confuss with u before my wedding. The dresser advised me 2 use the purple one.
I would wear a brown shade, unless the purple is pretty natural, because you don't want to look back at your wedding pictures years from now and think ';Oh god, what was I thinking with that color.'; Since brown is natural, it would probably just accentuate your coloring.
its hard to say without knowing your natural hair /skin colour.as a rule though, barely there makeup is best, so i would go with the browns for daytime, then if your changing for evening. reapply your face and go with the purple. hope this helps
i've always liked when brides match their makeup to the flowers =]

but between the 2, i think purple.

    lol %26lt;3
Go for it. it's your wedding day and only you can make it the best day ever. congratulations by the way and just focus on your groom down the aisle and you will look very stunning with whatever makeup you apply/choose. Although instead of just purple a smokey effect would look great too. If your reception is at night I suggest purple so your eyes will stand out more and add a little shimmer to your eyes as well. have fun.
Without knowing your skin/hair colouring, it is difficult to say. I don't think you can go wrong with Brown though!!!
i would go with a light purple (lavender-ish)
