What colorof eyeshadow is best for a fair skinned person? stage makeup wise?

i have a huge recital comin up and need to find the best color of eyeshadow.

P.S. where to get the best cheapest makeup? also what brand is the best? What colorof eyeshadow is best for a fair skinned person? stage makeup wise?
Light, sparkly colors work pretty well. Just find a color that compliments your eyes. You can put white all around your eye and then put a darker color on your eyelid. Eyeliner is always good too. Just don't go as overboard with it as you would for a play. The Almay ones that you pick to go with your eye color are good. Some match your eyes and some of them are the complimentary colors. Just pick the one for your eye color and do a little extra with all of it. I prefer the pencil type ones (they're plastic with that brand kind of like a crayon) but there's also liquid. This makeup you can play down a little to wear everyday and it should look really good. What colorof eyeshadow is best for a fair skinned person? stage makeup wise?
for stage make-up it all depends,

it sounds like this is probably a dance recital, I would say bold colors that will make your eyes as visible as possible, but not so bold they look ridiculous and clown-like, you could try a fun color of bright eyeliner and then doing your eye shadow in the same hue, just more subdued colors. You could also try subtle but very affective fake eyelashes. Use a rose colored blush and a eye-catching (non-ridiculous looking) lipstick.
What ever kind you decide on, you are going to have to put more on than you normally would becausse the stage lights will wash you out.

I'd be more concerned with a colored eye liner and dark mascara. Highlight the cheek bones with a darker tint than normal and use a lip liner for you lips, use your lipstick and put a little vaseline on your front teeth and dap it on your lips.

Go to the local drug store, they always have a good selection, or better yet, go to a good dept store and have the estee lauder or elizabeth arden tech do your make up. It's free as long as you buy something, and it doesnt have to be expensive. They may even have samples to give you to try in hopes you will come back and use there products.

Good luck, Jackie b
