How to put the right amount of eyeshadow on?

Does anyone know of any products and techniques for eye makeup. I have brown eyes and brown hair, and I don't want to put on so much makeup that I look like a clown, but then I want a little bit of an brown accent color...thanksHow to put the right amount of eyeshadow on?
Pale pinks and bronzes look really nice with brown eyes. try I-Mark in Magic (bronze) or Living Doll (pale pink). You can also try their brushes, such as the eye shadow brush or the blending brush. And to make your eyeshadow more subtle, try tapping the excess shadow off your brush before applying. Hope that helps! How to put the right amount of eyeshadow on?

it should help ;)
okay. my top three in make-up: prestige eyeliners, mac eyeshadows, and urban decay. invest in a set of proffesional brushes, one angled, one thin, two regular for eyes. when applying eyeshadows, always tap your brush on the side of the makeup case before applying it to your lids. Use a lighter, shimmery shade for the whole lid, than use a darker or more intense colour on the crease or corners of your eyes. If you wear eyeshadow, wear light mascara. maybelline volume exact is good, one swipe of that and a couple brushes with an eyelash brush to make them look more natural.

for us brown eyed beauties: bronze, plum, golds, and greens look great.

and the number one tip is expiereince.

lock yourself in the bathroom with makeup, fash wash, and oil free makeup remover and try different colours and techniques. its really the only way to truly fins your makeup style.
Instead of the swab they give you, use a soft, small brush. It will keep the shadow from going on too thick. Oh, and brown makeup is okay on brown eyes, but a thin navy or emerald liner will bring out the gold flecks in your eyes and really make them pop! Have FUN with it!
Don't worry, you're not alone! I do the same thing! I'd say...

1. Apply a good amount of eyeshadow to the right kind of brush (usually comes with the shadow)

2. On the upper lid, swipe it near your lashes so you can see it, but it's not too bold.

3. Use the leftover eyeshadow on the brush along your lid until you meet the crease.

4. See how it looks! Blink a few times, if you dont like it, try some different colors.

I hope i helped!!!
The make up tool does make the difference. For best results shadow smudger brush works best. The brush only puts on a little on a time so you dont over do it.

All my friends want my brush.

If you use a very small make up brush and gently take a really light pink or brown and slowly brush it on. your eye shadow should look really light and glimmery. This will make it also from looking like your wearing alot of make up . Hope that helps

theres some eyeshadow things that you can buy specifically for a certain eye color at any store, brown has light pinks and purple
