if I wear woodwinked on the lid what mac eye shadows do you thin would look good on the crease or outer v?What eyeshadow would you pair with macs woodwinked eyeshadow?
Either way would look good. If your sticking to MAC eye shadows, I would pair it with Vanilla and Rule for like a bronze look. Woodwinked is a very versatile color though, It would look REALLY good with a dark purple also and a light color below the brow like Beauty Marked or Nocturnelle and Sugar Shot. What eyeshadow would you pair with macs woodwinked eyeshadow?
Well I am not sure of your skin tone but I am a darker complextion so I use Woodwinked often! If you are lighter skined I would say go with a nice blue! That would blend nice! If your darker like me go with a bronze or gold tone color!

Where can I find good quality but fair-priced eyeshadow brushes?
Should I try department stores? Drug stores? Sephora? Ulta?
%26amp; what brand do you use?
Thanks :)Where can I find good quality but fair-priced eyeshadow brushes?
WalgreensWhere can I find good quality but fair-priced eyeshadow brushes?
Eco Tools is environmentally friendly and has pretty good quality for fair priced brushes. You can find them at Walgreens.
Also..Sonia Kauscak (Is that how you spell it? lol) Has probably the same quality brushes as MAC brushes, but a lot cheaper. You can find them at Target.
You don't have to go to Sephora or department stores to get good tools. Just look around and you'll be surprised what works for you. Target has this brand called Sonia Kashuk and their eyeshadow brushes are definately comparable to Mac's!
I heard that the eco tools Bamboo brushes are pretty good.
You can get these at Walgreens.

What are good eyeshadow, bronzer, and blush colors for fair skin and hazel eyes?
Hazel Eyes:
Those with hazel eyes should go toward more neutral colors such as brown. Many hazel gals have found that brown-based shades give them a fail-proof, gorgeous look every time. Pink is also considered to be a member of the brown family, though few realize it.
Most hazel-eyed folks who have mastered the art of eye shadow swear by a combination of pinks, browns, and occasionally greens.
Drugstore Suggestions:
1. Pinks and Browns: Almay intense i-Color Shadow Trio, for Hazel Eyes, ~$8.00
2. Greens: CoverGirl Eye Enhancers - Trio Eye Shadow, Sea Glass #120, ~$5.00
Sold at Target, Walmart, and pretty much any other drugstore.
Always make sure your Lip color is in the same family as your Blush color.
Blush and Lip Colors:
• Very Pale and Light Skin – Pale pink colors, for pale skin be careful to avoid all brown colors
L'Oreal True Match Blush, Baby Blossom, ~$11.00
CoverGirl Lipslicks Lip Gloss, Clear
• Medium Skin – Sandy pinks
CoverGirl Classic Color Blush, Soft Mink, ~$6.00
Revlon Super Lustrous Lipgloss, Gloss Rose 070, ~$7.00What are good eyeshadow, bronzer, and blush colors for fair skin and hazel eyes?

How to remove eyeshadow from carpet?
Hey I was just wondering if anyone has any ideas about how to remove purple eyeshadow from cream carpet. I have vacumed it and its still there :(How to remove eyeshadow from carpet?
Here is a great website with plenty of different stain removing procedures. They are all very high quality and should be used on wool carpets. If the first attempt doesn't work to your liking, I would suggest repeating the process after rinsing with warm water. Best of luck! How to remove eyeshadow from carpet?
Use 91% isopropyl alcohol(located next to rubbing alcohol) and pour and blot with paper towels.

What colour of eyeshadow should I use?
I have blue-green eyes, pale skin and natural blonde hair. What colour of eyeshadow do you think would suit me? My friend can do really cool rainbow eyes but I'm not very good at them. Any ideas?
Thanks in advance xWhat colour of eyeshadow should I use?
With your attributes you can wear almost anything.
Dark smokey colours would look really good in comparison to your light features, I wouldn't reccomend anything light unless you want to go for a subtle look.
Also I have pretty much the same feautures as you (cept my hair isn't naturally blonde :P) and I find that a shimmery dark purple looks awesome especially with a little bit under the eyes. I then also like to get a light shimmering violet and blend it in but still show a little bit of contrast between the colours.
Also! don't ever use a light pink, or any kind of pink that isn't really dark because with contrast to your light features it creates the illusion of making your eyes look sore and red because people can't distinguish between where your eyes start and end.- trust me it looks horrible.
anyway good luck! What colour of eyeshadow should I use?
The cool thing is that you can use ANY color because your hair, skin, and eye color make like a canvas. I would go for a teal, and bright yellow, with an inbetween color to pull them all together. However, 50% of it is also your eye shape. Google some picture for ideas.
hi~
you should try brown, i know it might sound crazy and i am a guy and all but if you'd like your eyes to stand out use brown, brown contrast with you light eye color making your eyes stand out more~. Give it a try, if you dont like it, you have nothing to lose ^_^ thats assuming you wont stab your eye.
Shades in the brown, rose and violet families are best. The warm hue of these shades contrasts with the cold tone of your blues to really make them pop. Use a shade that is darker in tone than your eye color to make your baby blues shine

What shade of lipstick would go good with green eyeshadow?
I don't think red will cuz I don't want to look like a christmas tree. lol :-)What shade of lipstick would go good with green eyeshadow?
i think a light pink or nude shade would look great :PWhat shade of lipstick would go good with green eyeshadow?
I'd go for something semi-neutral that compliments your skin tone. It can have color in it, just don't make it very bold. A color with a red or pink tint is fine, as long as it isn't too bright. Nude shades will make your eyes stand out more, while a color may add a little more balance.
I like flaming red, exotic crimson, cinnamon, fiery copper, amber glaze, burnt russet or rustic copper. Check out the colors at aularale.com/7002
use a baby pink color. its a really pretty color and goes with almost anything :]
or u can also use a lip color that is really close to ur natural lip color.
a gold shade to go earty ;D
eco-friebndly!

What color eyeshadow are blue eyed girls supposed to wear?
this post and the related posts are really helpful picking colors for your eyes
http://www.audreydao.com/2009/04/04/how-…What color eyeshadow are blue eyed girls supposed to wear?
Those with blue eyes should look for eye makeup in gray, violet, taupe, purple, and deep blue. Many have found using a dark shade of blue will actually bring out the more natural blue tones in your eyes; giving you a brighter and more vibrant look.
For an edgier or more dramatic evening look, mixing black liner with a bright blue will give you a classic “ smoky” effect. You can also throw in some silver, fuschia, or turquoise if you are going out and want a funky nighttime feel. What color eyeshadow are blue eyed girls supposed to wear?
I have blue eyes and the colors I use for eyeshadow that make them pop are blues, browns, and greens. Also for eyeliner black or blue work really well.
Oranges and browns are supposed to make blue or green eyes look much brighter :]
I have green eyes and orange seems to make them look nicest :] So you should try that
Well... I have blue eyes and use blue eyeshadow. Everyone says I have very pretty eyes.
i agree with meagan. try lighter colors and when you go to the store, just buy tons of eyeshadow! then it will be funner when you experiment with it!!=]

Which black eyeshadow is the best to use that is going to last and that doesnt cost a lot of money?
and a black eyeliner that is possibly the same...meaning that it lasts long and doesnt cost alot?Which black eyeshadow is the best to use that is going to last and that doesnt cost a lot of money?
hey, I'm in a band and I wear a lot of black eye make-up on stage so I'm constantly searching for something that is really sweat-proof and lasts.
I really think Mac packs the best bang for the buck. If you want liner that really lasts, try their gel liner. That stuff never comes off. Just make sure you get them to teach you to apply it. It can be tricky at first but once you get it, you get it and it looks phenomenal.
If you want a different look, learn to apply powder as liner with a thin, angled brush. (You sort of dot and wiggle to form a line instead of sweeping it on.) This can create a long-lasting look and it doesn't look quite as heavy as the gels. I've used Trish McEvoy powder and brush for this before. Expensive but it lasts forever.
For budget cosmetics, I like Max Factor. Make up artists do actually use their stuff and when they say it lasts, it lasts. (Warning: I've tried Revlon Color Stay Liner and it was a biiiig disappointment.)
You might also consider looking into Ben Nye cosmetics. His stuff is the favored brand for film, tv, and special effects. It is surprisingly affordable and the quality is VERY high. You might try the CinemaSecrets.com web site. The people at their store are really helpful so drop them a line.
In general, if you really want make-up to stay, no matter what promises the cosmetics companies make, you need to use a fixative. This comes as a spray or as a liquid that you mix with whatever powder you use (Ben Nye again). WARNING: If you mix a fixative with a powder make sure you do it in a separate container. Otherwise, if you mix it in the powder's original compact or container, the fixative soaks through and hardens the powder. Basically makes it worthless. I learned that the hard way.
Oh, and I think Mac is worth the money but I would definitely not waste money on Dior or any of the super high-end brands. Pencil is the easiest to apply but it is also the fastest to fade-- no matter how much you pay for it.Which black eyeshadow is the best to use that is going to last and that doesnt cost a lot of money?
The best makeup products are always the most expesive ones.. try any product from mac, sephoras etc and compare it with a maybelline youll see the difference. my advise is to splurge a little bit on it, they might be expensier but they ll give you better results..
use MAC black eyeshadow and Diors black pencil eyeliner
there is Prestige liquid eyeliner that they sell at walgreens and it shouldnt be more than $10. it lasts all day!!!
The best black powder shadow which can also be used wet as eyeliner (2 in one) is by JANE, called eye zing in ';Clubbing'; Makes your eyes look mysterious...very sexy
I use NYC i bought it in Walmart for 1.99. Get the glittery smoke eyeshadow i use it allot and it last longer if you put foundation before putting it on......
also if you but on the eyeshadow wet, like get the brush applicatior wet then put it on, it should make it bolder and stay longer
target, they have their own line called e.l.f a buck each, lip stuff, eyeliner , eyeshadow, concealer the whole shabang lasts really long for me and the foundation is really light, cant feel it!
good luck!
vote me! mines the cheapest! :^)
Storm eyeshadow ($6.50) and Charcoal eyeliner ($9.50) by Mary Kay
i say from Mac (midnight black ) it cost $12.00 for a eyeshadow but is going to last. Its a good buy
MAC definatly
Its like 13.50 for one and they usually last long like the quanity of the product and like i went swimming one time wearing my eyeshadow and it stayed on and thats it
xo.muah
I dont use black eyeshadow, instead i use a really deep blue eyeshadow from mac for my eye lids for the smokey effect and also for my eyeliner with the eyeliner brush. It brings out your eyes more, and looks better than black eyeshadow especially if you have a darker complexion like me.
mabillene great lash is cheap and it works well.thick hair

It brings out your eyes more, and looks better than black eyeshadow especially if you have a darker complexion like me.
mabillene great lash is cheap and it works well.

Is wearing eyeshadow to school too much?
I was wondering if wearing eyeshadow to school is too much makeup? i would wear all that glitters by mac (its a pink/brown neutral color) with a darker brown in the crease. i think it looks great but i don't want to look like a clown you know? so what do you think? should i just stick to mascara and a little bit of eyeliner? Is wearing eyeshadow to school too much?
I think it's too much...even if it looks natural, you'll still look too made up for school imo.
Eyeliner and mascara is enough. Is wearing eyeshadow to school too much?
No, wear the eyeshadow! Eyeshadow is one of the things that make the yes pop! Trust me i have that eyeshadow, and its practically impossible to look like a clown with that on!
Depends on how old you are and if you can pull it off.
For middle school it is too much, but for high school an up it can be fine if you do it right.
As long as it doesn't look like you're trying too hard, right?
It really depends on the amount you put on. I really don't see anything wrong with a little eyeshadow, Mascara and eyeliner. Stay on your ';A'; game at all times!
I think thats fine,as long as the eyeshadow is a natural color then its fine :D
most girls just wear mascara and eyeliner but theres a lot that use eyeshadow too so i think its ok
Not at all babe, remember it's not what u wear, and how u wear it.
yea dats cool but just dont go overboard!

Use neutrals. Golds, browns, silvers, and maybe some light pinks. :)What color eyeshadow looks good with tan skin?
Golds look amazing on your skin tone!!
Also electric blue really pops off of your tan skin!!
Use the colours closer to your skin tone, like brown and gold.
Don't use blue and purple, because it might look like you have black eyes.
silver , gold(browny tan one)

Girlfriend u should Go for a browny almost almost bronze dramatic look and if u wearing a open top shadow a tinzy bit on the neck line and shoulder bones, just to give that healthy glow!! trust me I'm a make up artist!! Believe me u dont wanna go out looking like the ice queen!!
i would try wither a smoky colour with some black eye liner
I have the same!! I always go for a dramatic look when I go out at night, black or charcoal shadow and black liner. Really brings out the blue in my eyes. But if you're going to do that, make sure that the rest of your makeup is light, and wear nude lipstick or gloss.
lilac always best for blue eyes
silvery blue
it wud depnd also on wot u r wearing but probely, silver, smoky browns, plae brown wif glitter or something or a lovely dark blue, and oh mascara
Okay, the number one thing you should stay away from is bright blue. Not a good color on blue eyes. I would try a brown or a gray. I have blue eyes and brown hair, and I tend to do browns and grays. Try this...
-Start with Revlon COLORSTAY庐 12 HOUR EYE SHADOW QUAD in Copper Spice.
-Take the second lightest color, a peachy tan color, and apply from the lashline to the brow.
-Next, take the lighter of the two darker colors, a medium brown, and apply on the outer third of your lid, to the brown bone.
-Then, use the darkest color, which in this case is a dark brown, with a brush, and push it into the crease. I would recommend leaving your eye open, and literally pushing the brush in right under the brow bone. Yes, it looks dumb when your doing it, but it really works. Close your eye and blend.
-Apply the lightest color, a shimmery off white, to just under your brow.
-Apply a little gray eyeliner, Black is too harsh, to the upper and lower lashlines.Revlon TIMELINER FOR EYES is a good one.
-Just add black mascara if you need it and your done!

Almay has a great product. You pick your eye color and they have colors that will match your hair and eye color. I have gotten alot of compliments with my eyeshadow.
What are you wanting to come out more? You outfit your eyes %26amp; hair or what? You should combind it with whatever your outfit has in it...good luck
Part of that depends on the outfit, and how formal the dinner is.
Lavender, and other light purples, and pale pinks work well for blue eyes, since they bring out the paler shades in blue eyes, making them seem bluer. This is a soft look, and will work well for day or night, and casual or formal occasions.
Smokey eyes are a very dramatic look with blue eyes.
Pearl grays and silvers can add a touch of shine or sparkle to your look, great for evenings.
Natural tones look good as a subtle way of enhancing what's there, without looking like you are wearing makeup.
Blues, browns, and golds need to be used carefully. While they are usually the first choice for blue eyes, they don't work well for everyone. Blue eyeshadow can draw attention away from your eyes, instead of enhancing them. Brown and gold are usually classified as warms, which can compete with the cool of blue, and make your eyes look dull.
Shimmery green.
try the bronze colour with dark brown...you could also use an eye pencil upon your lower lashes with a blue colour (sparkling)thick hair

I wear glasses. What type of eyeliner and eyeshadow will make my eyes stand out?
I have brown skin and hazel eyes and round thin black-framed glasses.I wear glasses. What type of eyeliner and eyeshadow will make my eyes stand out?
I believe that anyone with any combination of hair and eye color (and glasses!) can wear any eye colors they choose and have them look right provided the colors are chosen to compliment each other (not your hair, or eyes, or glasses) and the application is smooth.
I wear glasses as well, and I find that sometimes it requires a little more color and a heavier application to make my eyemakeup (and thus eyes) stand out versus if I'm not wearing glasses.
As far as colors go, hazel eyes look great in purples and greens. These jewel toned colors will look even more amazing on your deeper toned skin. I highly recommend MAC and Urban Decay eyeshadows and liners for the intensity and quality of their colors. Urban Decay is awesome, but is generally an all around intense company, if you're looking for a more subdued eye but still want some color and definition there's always great choices at MAC.
For a great green eye with MAC products:
1. Apply Vex (shimmery light grey) or Nylon (shimmery light gold) eyeshadow from lase line to brow bone. These are both highlight colors.
2. Apply Humid (vivid shimmery green) eyeshadow all over the lid and up to the crease. Blend well.
3. Apply Femme Noir (a deep, smokey matte green) eyeshadow in the crease.
4. Line eyes with Tealo Powerpoint pencil, to top and bottom lash lines, blending well.
5. Top off with 2 coats of your favorite black mascara (MAC Fibre Rich Lash in All Black is excellent).
For a pretty purple look with MAC products:
1. Apply Phloof! (shimmery pinkish white) from lase line to brow bone to highlight.
2. Apply Satelitte Dreams (sparkly purpley plum) eyeshadow all over the lid and up to the crease. Blend well.
3. Apply Black Tied (matte black with silver sparkle) lighty into crease for added definition.
4. Line eyes with Prunella (shimmery dark plum) Eye Kohl to upper and lower lash lines, blending well.
5. Apply 2 coats of your favorite black mascara!
For even more definition curl lashes before applying mascara but after all other eye products. Shu Uemura's lash curler is my favorite. Pump the curler lightly from the base of the lash on out to the tips to avoid the ';bent'; lash look.I wear glasses. What type of eyeliner and eyeshadow will make my eyes stand out?

i use an ivory green. It makes eyes ';pop'; out and widens them. For eyeshadow, i use hardcandy brand shimery brown color. They look really nice together!
It is a common mis-conception that glasses wearers need to ';over do'; their makeup in order for their eyes to be noticed. You'll be judged best if you use the same makeup you would if you didn't wear glasses.
Try the Almay combinations. I love them!
I've been wearing glasses since before I started wearing makeup, and one trick I've picked up is to take a very light eyeshadow (one that complements the tones you're already wearing) and use it around the inside of your eyes.
This is from the same school of thought as lining the inside of your bottom eyelid with a white or light eyeliner. All of this is designed to make your eyes ';pop'; and be bigger or more noticeable. Lighter tones in general will make your eyes stand out, which might seem garish on someone without glasses. With glasses, though, you can take that extra step to make your eyes stand out.
hazel eyes and dark skin make green eyeshadow look great. i don't know where you live, but in the UK Barry M has recently brought out a new kind of eyeshadow, it's much more powdery than normal. there must be some equivalents. it's very sparkly.
dark skin also looks great with gold and purple eyeshadow. if your glasses magnify your eyes a little, it makes it stand out more and you could easily wear one colour fading into another.
make sure you don't use too much eyeliner. and if you wear mascara make sure that it's not too sticky or lumpy.
wear a gold shimmery eyeshadow and maybe a lil black eyeliner at the bottom
well just because you where glasses doesn't mean that you half to over do your make up. try maybe a different color eyeliner and black or a different color mascaras. just play up your other features besides your eyes.

What are some make up tips when applying eyeshadow?
When you are applying eyeshadown, make sure you are using a brush, a soft brush, not like the ones that comes w/ the eyeshadow packes (the white ones). Make sure you are using at least two colors, one dark and one light. Apply the light one first, on your whole entire eyelid, and the darkest one last, and only apply to the part that is nearest to your eye. What are some make up tips when applying eyeshadow?
Definitely blend!! Here are some colors that go well together:
%26gt;Brown %26amp; light brown
%26gt;Pink %26amp; purple
%26gt;Yellow %26amp; gold
%26gt;Black %26amp; dark brown
%26gt;Silver %26amp; white
%26gt;Red %26amp; pink
But remeber these are just suggestions! What are some make up tips when applying eyeshadow?
i like using a small brush to aply light colors or pastel colors. if they are darker colors, i like using a sponge. and then if there is any type of color coordinating to be done, go by layers. :)
I always get good make up tips here.
Hope you like it.
light shade goes on lid and darker color in crease and lightest on eyebrow area
Virtual Makeover is great. You can play with colors and find a look you will love. Then it shows you how to apply your new look. Just click the link below.
Use 3 different colors. Use the lightest as your base. Then use the darkest for the crese of your eye lid, then you can use the remaining shade for just the top of your lids. Use strokes from the outside to the inside. And if you need to blend the colors get a shimmer like the one from cover girl it's a neutral color with a fat brush that's good for blending.
Depending on the effect you are going for...
pay attention to the natural shadows of your face, and aim to exaggerate them. For example, your brow bone is a good area to highlight, and the crease and outer sides of your lids are good to shadow.
For something more dramatic I would recommend a medium shade to start on the entire bottom lid, and a light shade around the brow bone to highlight. Then a third darker shade to use on the outer half of the lid towards the hairline and ear.
For something a bit more natural, subtle, day time, you could use the above technique but with more neutral colors, or simply skip the third shade.
Always be sure to blend blend blend. :]

dark purple or gold. What color eyeshadow looks good on someone with light brown hair, and green eyes?
i have light brown hair and i wear greens, purples or dark browns ..i get alot of compliments on it too
Purples, Blues, Dark browns, golds, Silvers.
It depends on if your a warm or cool colored person.
Golds, and dark browns, and creams always look pretty. (:
red, burgundy, chocolate brown, taupe, navy blue, grey, and black go great with green eyes.

Is it true that you never match your eyeshadow with your outfit?
i heard that somewhere
arent you supposed to coordinate it with your eye color and skin tone?Is it true that you never match your eyeshadow with your outfit?
In fashion and makeup the rules are very seldom hard and fast. Experiment a little and see what works best for you. Make sure before you go out in public you ask a friend who is brutally honest how your experiment looks on you. Ok now.....eye makeup looks best when you use the color of your eyes, your skin tone and the color of your hair to select a color. The color of your clothes closest to your face should also compliment your skin tone and your eye and hair color. However have you ever seen the MAC girls? Is it true that you never match your eyeshadow with your outfit?
it depends on the look that you are going for
Make-up is great because you can always wash it off
You should wear an eyeshadow that compliments your skin and eyes, and it also looks nice in general. Matching with your outfit can look kind of silly or tacky.
for brown eyes-purples and greys
for green eyes- pinks and greens
for blue eyes- blues and browns
neutral colors usually look nice on anyone too.
fair skin tones should go for cool colors. darker skin tones can go for warmer colors.
Sometimes the eyeshadow can match your skin tone and your outfit so it's not always true...
But it's best to match your eyeshadow with your skin tone or eye color... try Almay bright eyes brand.. It really works
no it's not true
LOL, I used to do that when I was a kid. Wear blue eyeshadow 'cause I was wearing a blue top. Pretty funny now, but I thought it looked good then.
Depends on what color clothes you are wearing. Some eye shadows, however, match all outfits, for example, black and navy. Also, for example, if you have brown eyes, brown shadows will work for you with any color outfit.
i don't think you should match with ur outfit..it doen't go well....i think a light brown works for everyone with a litler shimmer in it!!
i always go by my eyes and skin tone but you can inhance the color your wearing but adding a soft color of the color your wearing at the top of your eyebrow
To avoid a Malibu Barbie effect, try not to match your eyeshadow with your outfit. But if you really like one particular color, like pink for instance, you could be wearing a rose colored shirt and maybe you could use a sheer wash of light pink on the lids, but before that sweep some beige shadow all over the eyelid first to make the pink less obvious. It will appear like a faint wash of color if you do this.
sometime it true
In some cases, it is true. You do not, I repeat do not want to wear blue eye shadow with a blue shirt! It will look super cheesy! It is really better to coordinate with your eyes, but not the same color. Doing opposite colors can intensify your own eyes:
brown eyes or hazel eyes - wear blues or purples to stand out
blue eyes - peach and brown tones will make them pop
green - anything but green will look good

What colour eyeshadow would make ice blue eyes stand out more?

Smokey eyes always look good with blue eyes.
To achieve smoky eye look, use a combination of navy blue eye shadows and greys. Use the darker colored shadows towards the outer corners of the eyes, and then gradually fade the color in towards the nose, so the colors lighter on the inside.
Line both the top and the bottom lids with get black eyeliner and apply lots of mascara! This look is good for daytime wear, or a night out on the town. If you think its too harsh for daytime wear, trying using the same techniques with different shades of brown. What colour eyeshadow would make ice blue eyes stand out more?
Ok so I have blue eyes, I love to wear black mascara and Kohl inside eyeliner from L'Oreal I find it really makes my eyes pop!!! Also, I notices a light pink, beige's and medium blues work well to make them look really cute. If you want a simple look, use black brown mascara and beige eyes shadows with a black Kohl inside eyeliner. Hope this helps, Also, Just experiment that's how i found the best for my eyes and skin color.

What eyeshadow should I wear with a cream dress?
I bought a cream, knee length dress for prom but dont know what colour eye shadow I should wear as cream just looks plain...I also have blonde hair and blue eyes... plz replyWhat eyeshadow should I wear with a cream dress?
You could wear any color combination with the dress because cream falls into the ';neutral'; color category.
If you want to enhance your hair and eye color, try these shadow colors:
*Gold
*Champagne
*Warm Nude
*Beige
*Copper
*Bronze
*Warm Taupe
*Warm Brown
*Chocolate Brown
Good luck and have fun! What eyeshadow should I wear with a cream dress?
You could try a cream shadow. Dont pile it on it will look too matchy matchy. Just a very sheer color. And some mascara-brown mascara would look natural and nice.
You could go for a gold shadow. Once again a very subtle shadow and use a highlight (you could use the cream shadow that i mentioned above) for your eyebrows %26amp; inner corners(near the tear duct areas)
If you want to wear eyeliner- Id say brown. But a very thin line and use a cream colored shadow for the lid.
Reason I say thin- is i get the image of your dress being light %26amp; flowy. ethereal. not like harsh or strong if that makes sense lol
well a nice ice blue or ice white would be pretty especially with blue eyes
pink could also go nice aswell but id say blue because you have blue eyes and the cream would fit well with your eyes :D
heres a great website with lovely blue eyeshadow and lots of other colours too if youo wanna explore %26gt;%26gt; http://www.barrym.com/products/product.a…
scroll down and u will find x :D
hope i helped good luck with your prom x
you could go for a natural, smoky-ish look.
you go all over your lid with a color that similar to your skin. then use a darker color to define the creases. then add like a brown into the outside corners of your eyes and then blend it all together
I would definitely go with some gold and brown hues. Like especially since your dress is a lighter color and with the darker tones your eyes will stand out and it'll look dressier. Which is good for an occasion like prom.
a Rosy pink would looks so good blended with gold and maybe brown eyeliner and dark brown mascara. and you can go timelessly classic with red lipstick
i have a cream dress and i think that bronze or a tan colour would look perfect
I would say gold, tan, brown, or white. With gold jewelry.
golden bronze color
this compliments all skin tones
you could wear just about any color with it.
i would jazz it up with a dark smokey eye (=
Brown.
try a gold or bronze shadow
dark purple or brown and black.

If you have green eyes go more toward the purple eye shadows
Gold! Try a goldish brownish tint. That would look amazing. (: but try not to over do it.

How to put the right amount of eyeshadow on?
Does anyone know of any products and techniques for eye makeup. I have brown eyes and brown hair, and I don't want to put on so much makeup that I look like a clown, but then I want a little bit of an brown accent color...thanksHow to put the right amount of eyeshadow on?
Pale pinks and bronzes look really nice with brown eyes. try I-Mark in Magic (bronze) or Living Doll (pale pink). You can also try their brushes, such as the eye shadow brush or the blending brush. And to make your eyeshadow more subtle, try tapping the excess shadow off your brush before applying. Hope that helps! How to put the right amount of eyeshadow on?

okay. my top three in make-up: prestige eyeliners, mac eyeshadows, and urban decay. invest in a set of proffesional brushes, one angled, one thin, two regular for eyes. when applying eyeshadows, always tap your brush on the side of the makeup case before applying it to your lids. Use a lighter, shimmery shade for the whole lid, than use a darker or more intense colour on the crease or corners of your eyes. If you wear eyeshadow, wear light mascara. maybelline volume exact is good, one swipe of that and a couple brushes with an eyelash brush to make them look more natural.
for us brown eyed beauties: bronze, plum, golds, and greens look great.
and the number one tip is expiereince.
lock yourself in the bathroom with makeup, fash wash, and oil free makeup remover and try different colours and techniques. its really the only way to truly fins your makeup style.
Instead of the swab they give you, use a soft, small brush. It will keep the shadow from going on too thick. Oh, and brown makeup is okay on brown eyes, but a thin navy or emerald liner will bring out the gold flecks in your eyes and really make them pop! Have FUN with it!
Don't worry, you're not alone! I do the same thing! I'd say...
1. Apply a good amount of eyeshadow to the right kind of brush (usually comes with the shadow)
2. On the upper lid, swipe it near your lashes so you can see it, but it's not too bold.
3. Use the leftover eyeshadow on the brush along your lid until you meet the crease.
4. See how it looks! Blink a few times, if you dont like it, try some different colors.
I hope i helped!!!
The make up tool does make the difference. For best results shadow smudger brush works best. The brush only puts on a little on a time so you dont over do it.
All my friends want my brush.

What eyeshadow brands fit into mac palettes?
So far, i only know that Milani e/s fits into mac palettes as well as ELF palettes...
but i'm curious about other brands... like NYX trios, Urban Decay and WildnCrazy.... any ideas??What eyeshadow brands fit into mac palettes?
basically all round e/s
What eyeshadow brands fit into mac palettes?
Yes, NYX Trios and Urban Decay do fit into the palettes. I'm not too sure about WildnCrazy.
Other brands that fit: La Femme Ultra Pearl, Jordana, Bath and Body Works, Red Earth.
Also, the tray can be popped out of the MAC palette, so you can put any oddly shaped shadows or even blush/face powders. But, just remember to be careful when popping it out =]
Uhm, E.L.F. ones do, you can actually purchase ELF quad palettes and put MAC eyeshadows in there, it's much cheaper.
As for NYX trios ... I'm pretty sure they fit, like the first person set generally all round eyeshadows fit into the standard MAC round shadow palettes

Best Eyeshadow, eyeliner and mascara colors for brown eyes?
I have light colored eyes but have a hard time finding colors that look good on me. What colors would you suggest for light brown eyes. My skin is pale with both yellow and pink undertones.Best Eyeshadow, eyeliner and mascara colors for brown eyes?
I would suggest getting a color pallette in shades of purple. Use black mascara and lightly line your eyes with black eyeliner. Get a ';tonal'; effect by brushing eyeshadow colors darkest to lightest starting at your lashline. Don't make it to intense--but do make it dramatic enough that people will notice you.Best Eyeshadow, eyeliner and mascara colors for brown eyes?
Deep browns, black, silver, gold, navy blue( my personal fav), you can use almost any color. I would try www.nyx.com , very affordable and they have hundreds of colors. NYX is MAC's sister company.

Really? Why would you want to use that? It's like how people want to use those infomercial cooking products because they cut down on time - but how hard is it to grate cheese by hand without using a plug-in appliance?
Also, those things remove any creativity within the application process. As well as removing any chance of you learning how to apply makeup.
But anyways, those are called ';color on';

To 'this website sucks,' some people have no interest in ';wanting to learn how to do makeup,'; but they DO like the look of it, which is why they use these products.
Personal preference, no need to get so sensitive over it.
ColorOn EyeEnvy!!! Yes the brand is called ColorOn Found at Sephora! I also think it looks cool.

What eyeshadow or eyeliner color to bring out GRAY eyes?
I just got freshlook colorblend contacts in GRAY. Does anyone know what color eyeshadow or eyeliner i could use to bring out the gray? feel free to recommend me brands too. thanks! What eyeshadow or eyeliner color to bring out GRAY eyes?
ANY COLOURS..like blue..purple..green..
You're lucky...any colours that are bright...try to avoid black
well you could do a bright colour eyeliner from eyeshadow (using an angle tipped brush) then do a very thin black eyeliner around your eyes...it looks cute !
M.A.C has the most amazing brightest colours...ugh you're so lucky!! LOLWhat eyeshadow or eyeliner color to bring out GRAY eyes?
any shade of purple, cool colors will look amazing.
thinking about it, with your eye color, you can really work it with any color except for grays and blacks.
for an everyday look, i would try a plum eyeshadow with a creamy white towards the brows, and apply dark brown liner :]
try Maybelline's New York Define-A-Line Eyeliner in the color rich rasin(brown), Mabelline's New York Line Stylist in the color Jade Flash(black), Bonne Bell Eye Definer in the color O11(gray), and Styli-Style in the shade 421 LA(purple).
Hope this helps!
I would use Purple different shades of purple and black to provide a smoky look. Avon sales wonderful palletes, which show u were to aplly the make up. and black eyeliner as well. and top it off with lashblast volume blasting masacra from Covergirl.
ME TOOOOOOOO ! HI5 FOR GRAY FRESHLOOOOOOOOKS (Y)(H)
hehe
id say dark colours. otherwise, blue and green are great alternatives. :)
Purple is my favorite! it goes well with grey but it depends on the outfit or place.
i think any color goes good with gray contacts except for gray and white
i have to go with green or blue, but is there any swirly colors in the contact's gray that your eyeliner could bring out?

Do you guys have any recommendation for eyeshadow brushes?
I need a simple brush for eyeshadow. I'm looking for something that has great qualities but yet is not pricey (Nothing over 15 bucks). Have you ever used it? Does it work good? What are some pros and cons?Do you guys have any recommendation for eyeshadow brushes?
I think that mac brushes are amazing, they are a little pricey, but well worth it, they work fantastic and clean up well. I have tried others and they fall apart ect.... had my mac for years and they are still like new.Do you guys have any recommendation for eyeshadow brushes?
sometimes i use my fingertips to finish in one brush but q tips
e.l.f. brushes are a dollar. They sell them on their website (you can search for it) or you can go to a store. They work just as well as any other!

What eyeshadow is the best, and affordable ?
I love mineral makeup. Pure Luxe Cosmetics has a TON of colors of different types of eye shadow. They're very pigmented and beautiful. Also, for the samples most cost $1.00. They come in small jars but you may want to get a sifter to go along with it (under accessories). They say the samples last 4 - 5 applications but they last MUCH longer! Its definitely worth a try. Also try Everyday Minerals, their samples are $2.50 but last forever too. They have a mini custom kit, 10 eyeshadows for $17.00, its a great deal. Their brushes are great too! What eyeshadow is the best, and affordable ?
Loreal HIP eyeshadow duos, these are amazing they don't crease and the colors are super vibrant and you'll be spending about 6.99 on one but they last a really long time, I wear mine everyday and I've had it for about 3 months and you can't even tell I've used it! ^.^ Good luck! What eyeshadow is the best, and affordable ?
Affordable depends on your income and lifestyle. Many ppl find MAC to be affordable and wonderful for e/s - better pigmentation and color range than drugstore, and not priced as high as many high end brands.
try ulta... they have like a million colors and it works great. They are affordable too! :)

What eyeshadow color is your favorite to wear?
and please state your natural eye color :) thanks! What eyeshadow color is your favorite to wear?
well my eyes are blue, and in my opinion, golds, browns, nude colors, navey, and purple goes best with blue eyes.
For a nice natural/clean look, my absolute favorite to wear was a really nice pearly off-white color, and I really recommend that color if you have blue eyes.
for a more striking look, id definately say brown eye shadow with some darker contouring, and black mascara is the best.
:)What eyeshadow color is your favorite to wear?
i like wearing two blending shades of dark green
and also brown that has a hit of gold
i like eyeshadow which is with a bit of glitter in it especially for the night
my eyes are green but they change colour according to the light. in fact im not sure what colour they are. so the eyeshadow are an important element, so is the eyeliner.
am black and i have brown eyes, i love wearing purple eye shadow, but i usually do three shades of any color depending on wat am wearing.
the right eyeshadow does magic for the eyes.
i have dark brown eyes and i like sheer, glittery purple. its very subtle but still draws attention to the eyes, is a pretty color, and can b worn with a lot of outfits
I like to wear a natural light base with a flick of black in the outer corners with quite a lot of dark eyeliner...I have quite big blue/green eyes and it sets if off really nice.
My favourite eyeshadow color is light green, light blue and light pink. My natural eye color is brown and my skin is white.
I have blue eyes and I love to wear purple, blue, and red. But not all at once, lol.
Brown eyes look good with Blues..
Blue eyes with golds..

Does it look weird to match your eyeshadow with your outfit?
haha i heard that you should never do that on antm but i see people do it all the time.
if you shouldnt then how do you know which color to go for ?Does it look weird to match your eyeshadow with your outfit?
Yes, and it looks tacky and shows that the person has no sense of creativity. Matching eyeshadow to clothing is the ultimate cop-out for not knowing how to do makeup. Makeup should flatter your facial features, not your outfit, and blue or green eyeshadow rarely looks better than a neutral tuape or shimmery champagne color. Red or pink lipstick with a red or pink outfit looks like you're trying too hard.
My trick is to do the makeup first, before you even know what you're going to wear, and focus on enhancing your features and creating a natural look. Try beige, cream, pale pink, or brown eyeshadow on the eyes. For lips, try a nude, pink or clear gloss. Your goal should be to look beautiful on your own, and have your clothes and makeup flatter your figure and your features. Your makeup is not an accessory to your outfit. If you match your makeup, the only thing that people will see is that you're wearing makeup, and the goal is to look like you're not wearing any.Does it look weird to match your eyeshadow with your outfit?
It looks nice if you have like for example a multi colored shirt and you use like one of the colors in the shirt for your eyeshadow. But if you're doing it like everything blue or black, then no.
XOXO
i don't think its a good idea to make it the same color as your clothes.
but obviously it IS a good thing to match it and those people don't know what they are talking about lol :)
No it doesn't look weird...
as long as it's not an extremely bright and intense color on your eyes and you have the same bright outfit then you loook like a parrot but otherwise it's ok =]
yup...
a blue top
with blue eye shadow
noo...
blue top
with brown or white eyeshadow...
yes...
no i think it looks so tacky and cheap
like your trying toooooooo hard
i think it only looks good with nutrals
just wear eyeshadow that goes good with ur skintone or eyes.if its during the day dont wear eyeshadow thats to dramatic
no i looks nice but it cant match exatly if you wear red try maroon eyes or if you wear brown try tan catch my drift ...how ived helpthick hair

What kind of powder is best for eyeshadow creases?
my eyeshadow clumps up in the creases of my eye lids as the day goes on. my eyeshadow is not a powdery eyeshadow. ive read in many places that powder helps prevent this. but what kind of powder works best? What kind of powder is best for eyeshadow creases?
Sorry it's not powder but Urban decay primer potion. DOES NOT CREASE!! It's soo amazing! Apply it on the lid, let it set for a bit and then apply your eyeshadowWhat kind of powder is best for eyeshadow creases?
You need an eyeshadow primer on under the eyeshadow. I use Urban Decay's primer potion, but Too Faced shadow insurance is good too. Both are available at Sephora, Ulta, and sephora.com.
Cornsilk powder
Primer..
concealer works wonders for me
urban decay primer potion. it's pricey but worth it

What eyeshadow would be good for me?
I have light brown skin and black hair
I heard all shades of purple with be good - any other colors? What eyeshadow would be good for me?
The most important factor in choosing makeup colors is determining your skin tone. You want colors that match your skin tone. Here's how to determine your skin tone:
Warm skin tone:
1. Look at inner wrist - veins will appear green.
2. Gold jewelry is more flattering than silver jewelry.
Cool skin tone:
1. Look at inner wrist - veins will appear blue.
2. Silver jewelry is more flattering.

What do I use to apply creme eyeshadow?
can i use an eyeshadow brush? i have sponge tip applicators but they don't work very well. do i use my fingers? What do I use to apply creme eyeshadow?
I would use my finger. An eyeshadow brush is meant for a powdered eyeshadow. What do I use to apply creme eyeshadow?
well.. you CAN use your fingers but be careful wash your hands before. if you have dirt on your fingers then it may enter your pores encouraging pimples to grow.
or then you can use just an ordinary eyeshadow brush! make sure it is a seperate brush because then the colour will mix with the next eyeshadow you are applying!
hope i helped!
peace xx
Yes, a eyeshadow brush would be fine! If the sponge doesn't work for you...don't use it. When you use your fingers you can get your face dirty and you don't want that.
Here's a pic of the brush you should use:

What eyeshadow colours would suit me?
I have pale skin, blonde eyebrows which you can barely see but dark brown hair. A lot of colours just give me a gothic look which i dont likeWhat eyeshadow colours would suit me?
maybe a gold/bronze. it would compliment the shade of your hair and it would hardly look gothic at all :)
its a neutral tone so it goes with any outfit, plus it looks great for all skin tones b/c i wear it too. What eyeshadow colours would suit me?
why is your hair not blonde? create equality in your features then you will be open to more options... promise.
Hmm..
I think green, brown, coral, peach, pink, %26amp; earthy colors look adorable with people with pale skin
I would go with neutral colors, like browns and creams. You can also darken your eyebrows with a brow pencil or an eyeshadow that matches your haircolor.
Dont do something too dark, because it will look trashy.
try a light brown or peachy color!
:D have a nice day!

im getting chestnut brown contacts and i have no idea what eye shadow colors look good on brown eyes! i have blondish hair and fair-medium skin. im going shopping for makeup soon what colors should i get? What eyeshadow colors would look good on me?
Go with a neutral color. A smokey grey would look good. And don't EVER match your eyeshadow with the color of your clothes...It looks really corny. I like when girls have a sheer lip gloss and some light blush on, and neutral colors because neutral colors go with anything, really.

MEDIUM SKIN, BROWN EYES
Eye Shadow:
You'll look best in medium green, medium purple, plum, medium blue, medium gray or blue-gray shades of eye shadow. Choose one shade only to use at a time and apply it all over eyes, from lash-line to brows.
Mascara:
Apply one coat of brown or brown/black mascara.
Lip Color:
You shine in sheer lip glosses in shades of light brown, bronze or raisin red.
Special Occasions:
You'll stand out in a metallic silver or blue-gray eye shadow on lids. Rim the inside of your lower lids with white eyeliner, and apply a coat or two of brown/black mascara to top lashes. Keep lips shiny and pretty in a sheer bronze or brownish-red gloss.

You'll look best in minty green, light to medium purple (plum), pale blue, light gray or light blue-gray shades of eye shadow. Choose one shade only to use at a time and apply it all over eyes, from lash-line to brows.
Mascara:
Apply one or two coats of clear or brown mascara.
Lip Color:
Clear lip balm is always fresh on you. You will also look nice in a sheer lip gloss or shiny lipstick in pinkish-brown.
Special Occasions:
Go for a metallic silver or metallic plum (medium purple) eye shadow on lids (sparkly or not, your choice) and ramp up eyelashes with two coats of brown mascara. Keep lips pale but shiny with a clear or pale pink gloss.
Let's see;
you can try BLUE or GREENS as a mascara, but black would look too neutral. If u want neutral looks, try blacks and browns.

Which eyeshadow colors will look good with my skin tone?
I would describe my skin color as the same as Rihanna's. I dont usually wear eyeshadow, but I want to try it. Which colors would look best on me, and could you recommend a good base?
thanksWhich eyeshadow colors will look good with my skin tone?
Use the Urban Decay Primer potion in the shade: Sin.http://www.urbandecay.com/products/SinPr鈥?/a> Put that on before you put eye shadow on. It really helps it last all day.
I suggest wearing blues, purples, and greens. More dark colors for that type of skin tone. Try some of the Urban Decay shades or something similar:http://www.urbandecay.com/products/Flash鈥?/a>
Try: Flash, Gash, Flipside, Crash, Eldorado, Lounge, Goddess, URB, and Twiced Baked. Good luck! :)Which eyeshadow colors will look good with my skin tone?

%26gt;%26gt;the links below are pics of rihanna and the colors i mentioned eyeshadow. if you google rihanna pics she usually has purple or bronze eyeshadow.
rihanna has a nice coppery tan, and for her, id say:
for anyday: tans, browns, golds, blacks, and maybe a bit of white
for evening: smokey eyes, silver, gold, navy blue, and reddish brown
p.s. try mixing and blending them around
Im thinking of a ight violet purple, and a nice toned down silver, plus i know that alot greens look good with your kind of skin tone. :D

What's the best way to clean eyeshadow off from your eyelashes?
Your actual lashes, not fake ones.
Do i use my finger, a clean brush, a q-tip? please helpWhat's the best way to clean eyeshadow off from your eyelashes?
Use eye makeup remover or another gentle cleanser (like watered down baby shampoo). Apply a line of cleanser to a tissue. Fold the tissue in half. Put one half under your lashes, close your eye, and put the other half over the lashes, then squeeze and pull. What's the best way to clean eyeshadow off from your eyelashes?
use a q tip with baby oil ir a cotton ball with baby oil this also works for taking off mascara
Makeup remover
I use a wet Q-tip and then comb my eyelashes as best I can
Eye makeup remover with a cotton ball
If you use a cotton ball with eye make up remover it can possibly get on everything else since it is not as precise. I like using a q-tip with make up remover. Its really easy to get it off if it is in a little area.
you can you a q-tip and put a little water on it and I guess gently wipe it off
Use olive oil or sunflower oil!

Has anyone tried the Bare Minerals Eyeshadow liner?
Do you like it?
I got a set for christmas of 12 mini Bare Minerals eyeshadow liners and I'm just now trying them. I've been using them for about a week now. I love them. But they don't last too long, i've noticed. And it seems like some of Bare Minerals eye shadows don't last very long either.
Also what do you guys think of Bare Minerals in general?
I like almost everything i've tried so far. My favorite is the foundation and mineral veil.Has anyone tried the Bare Minerals Eyeshadow liner?
I love BE liner shadows. I have used them for years and won't use anything else. I mix my liner shadow with Visene. Sounds crazy, but it works great. :DHas anyone tried the Bare Minerals Eyeshadow liner?
First of all, get Bare Minerals Prime Time for Eyes. It is an eyelid primer, used to help your shadows stay on longer with no fading or creasing. That will help your shadow live up to its full potential!
Second, for your liner, try getting the product wet by making your brush damp with some water or use Bare Minerals Weather Everything. Weather Everything turns the powder into a waterproof liquid liner.
I work at the Bare Escentuals boutique so if you have any questions you can ask me!
you should use some of Bare Minerals' eye priner on your eyelid and on where you put your eyeliner, it makes it stay on much longer.
Hope that helpes :)

What should i apply before using eyeshadow?
when i use powder shadow it's neither long lasting nor shimmery. In makeup tutorial videos it seems pasty. Can i go with Vaseline or oily stuff before applying shadow?help me.if u ve any suggested video links provide me too. What should i apply before using eyeshadow?
You need to apply a primer. I like Too Faced shadow insurance. It's $17. A little pricey but worth it. Here's a link to the page on the sephora website
http://sephora.com/browse/product.jhtml?鈥?/a>
I think L'Oreal makes one too, if that fits your budget better. Also, if you wet your brush before dipping it in the shadow, it makes the shadow go on like a cream. If you do that and then put it on dry on top that acts like a base too, and will make it a little more shimmery and last a little longer. A primer is always best though :).... Good luck!

How do i go for a natural look but still have makeup eyeshadow and all on?
i have brown hair brown eyes and a light skin tone. How do i go for a natural look but still have makeup eyeshadow and all on?
Marykay has the best ..and natural beauty products to start of with for ...i have a friend that would love to be your beauty consultant contact her at
www.marykay.com/wiseone or go www.marykay.com and enter her name tara wise and city georgia ...she will ship the products to you with free shippin and handling, order up under her name or go to her website...and for referring other to buy off her website she will give you free products...so actually if others buy from her all your makeup will be free.
How do i go for a natural look but still have makeup eyeshadow and all on?
its kind of a funny concept, wear all the makeup steps, but show nothing, it took me a while to get it lol, just use good not cakey brands, natural and neutral colors (ones that match your own skin, and lips) and dont over use%26gt;
so a natural look wouldnt nessecarily be a matte smokey one, go for a dewy skin, so that means a bit if highlighter (i like benefit highbeam,)and then a good foundation, if you have even skin you dont even need foundation (most likely) just use a concealer for miner inperfections (freckles can stay, thats part of being ';natural';) but if you do in fact need a foundation, you can try a liquid, id go with chanel, or clinique (just ask the ppl a the makup counter which one is the best for you) i think smashbox foundation is also really smooth and creamy, if thats to expensive, then i guess loreal makes some ok ones, i dot use liquid anymore cause it melts right off me i use Bare Minerals its amazing, you hardly even need any it jsut brushes away inpefections (speaking of brushes benefits buff brush it the one i use for fuondation its really soft)
ok so moving right along, the point here is if you dont need it dont use it, if it aint broke dont fix it, get it? if you feel that you have to use blush use it in moderation (NOT like a geisha) pick a shade that matches the color you natually blush (rub or gently scratch one cheek the shade of pink that you see should be the shade of blush you buy) only put it on the apples of cheeks, and blend it, same for bronzer, its ok to go for a sunkissed look and still be natural, just find one that is NOT ORANGE thats the worst, and dont get one thats way darker than your own skin, choose within your color range, only apply this where the sun hits your face, (forehead, bridge of nose, cheek bones, and if you want a little on your chin) and of caorse belnd it.
for the eyes go with subtle colors, (honey, champagne, chocolates, peaches, tan, taupe, golds, and even greys can be ok, if you want a more edgey flare) never go over board, black liner probably istnt the best for this idea, try dark brown (i use benefit khol pencils) you just do a thin line and blend it with the otehr end (a little sponge on the pencil) for mascara i always use black you can try brwon but its not for me (i have brown eyes to) just dont buy one that says volumizing or XXL thats to much drama, i have clinique mascaras (naturally glossy, and long %26amp; pretty lashes) naturally glossy pretty much just adds color, and keeps lashes looking clean and soft never clumped, the other one is pretty self explanetory, it makes them look really long and lenghthy, not so much fuller or thicker.
ok now for the lips, for this look (which i do go for alot) i think a gloss is the best way to go, but i really do love lipstick it may not be the best way to go about this look (they can sometimes look gloppy, or to thick) but like i said its all about the color and the brand, if you do like lipstick, get a couple different shades: a pinkish nude (basiclly one taht looks like your own lip color), a tawny-brown (probably a light or medium shade for you with your light skin) and then a peachy color if you want (which should be more sheer rather than full coverage cause taht can end up looking orange instead, again ORANGE is BAD) for lipsticks i pretty much only use clinique and chanel, chanels are really wonderfull, theyre lightwheight yet creamy, and they last all day, cliniques are pretty good to, my natural chanel shades that i recommend are ';Temptation';, and maybe ';Evanessent'; for clinique shades i have ';Tenderheart'; it goes one sheer with one coat, and you can make it darker with a couple more, but when i put it on i can barley even see it, thats the trick again these are a bit pricey but totally worth it, if you simply wont do it, then try loreal lipstick i think theyre ok, revlon is to oily. ok so back to gloss our better option here,
clear is fine it looks especially gorgeous if you play up the eyes or cheeks instead (still being subtle of coarse), sheer gloss is always good, a peach or pink is fine, even a brighter watermelon color is cute and fun, as long as its not overkill) ok have fun remember blend your colors and no harsh lines anywhere! : )
Just use neutral shades that are close to your skin tone. Start with neutral eyeshadow and add eyeliner in either a brown or black shade. Apply the eyeliner in a thin line so it's not too noticeable. Then curl your eyelashes and add one coat of mascara. Finish off with a lip balm or a light peachy or pink transluscent gloss.
Try Bare Minerals. It's very natural looking %26amp; good for your skin as well.

What are the best types of eyeshadow?
I am kinda new at makeup so I need to know what brand to buy which is cheap and is pigmented and works well. What are the best types of eyeshadow?
Make up forever and Urban decay has some wild pigments you can get them at sephora and ulta
www.makeupforever.com
http://www.urbandecay.com/categories/Eye鈥?/a>What are the best types of eyeshadow?
If you are looking for a good shadow that is affordable i highly recommend NYX. NYX runs for about 4 dollars for a single eyeshadow and has a wide range of colors to choose from, not to mention the package actually gives more eyeshadow than other singles. L'Oreal has a collection called HIP or high intensity pigments which come in duos and the color payoff is really good, as in the colors are really intense. They run about 7 or 8 dollars but remember that you're getting two colors, and you get a lot. The packaging is really cute too because there's a mirror underneath the eyeshadows. These are my personal favorite.
I LOVE NYX eyeshadow. The single (powder) eye shadows are best and very pigmented. The trios are good, but aren't as pigmented, but a great deal!
Also, you can check out their Jumbo Eyeshadow Pencils. They are SUPER pigmented! If used as a base, they can make any eye shadows really POP! But be careful, if you have oily lids, remember to use a base! If you have dry eyelids, than the Jumbo Pencils shouldn't be a problem because they are super creamy and glide right on! Remember to BLEND, BLEND, BLEND!
Maybeline or L'oreal. The last longer, work better and get the job done.If you are mew to the make-up then let recommend this really cool mascara by cover girl and it is the best. Also go for the natural look, unless you don't want to then it is ok but it is just better to people who hadn't had much experience with make-up because we are more sensible to it and we can damage our image because the was we use it.Hope I helped!-M*LO23:)
N.Y.X, maybelline, e.l.f, cover girl, revlon
MAC IS TOO EXPENSIVE %26amp; i wouldnt reccommend it.

you shouldn't match the lipstick you should match your eye color
Well, it really depends on the colour of your eyes, irrespective of the lip colour. With brown eyes a brown or green eyeshadow looks good. Blue/ silver/grey shadow with blue or grey eyes. A more subtle eye colour works best if you have a bold lip colour, particularly if you want to draw attention to your lips/mouth.
Use neutrals (browns, beiges, whites, greys). You could either apply it lightly to drawn even more attention to your lips, or you could do the smoky eye with greys. Personally, I prefer the smoky eyed look.
ps. Never use blue eyeshadow--it will actually make you look like your eyes are bruised. Seriously. Unless you want to do the punk thing or look like you're 12.
i think the smokey eye look looks great with red lipstick!
dark smoky greys, and shimmery beige/white
Keep the shades light, you need to decide whether you're bringing the attention to your eyes or your lips, you really shouldn't do both. With a red lipstick (which not everybody can pull off) you should use neutral shades, you can add extra coats of mascara to make your lashes pop though (I love Maybeline Waterproof Full %26amp; Smooth Mascarra)... wait a bit in-between coats. And vice-versa, if you want to do the dramatic eyes, use a lighter more natural color lipstick with gloss.
dark blue combined with light blue and any dark shades go well with red lipstickWhat is the best color of eyeshadow to wear with red lipstick?

What is the best color for eyeshadow?
What colors should i use to make my eyes seem lighter.
More: I have brown eyes. the kind that look brown not black. Im a latina women. i have black hair. my skin is in the middle not so dark but not light. What is the best color for eyeshadow?
I would suggest golds, coppers with an orange hue and line your eyes in a very dark black and use a very dark black mascara. This tends to lighten brown eyes and give them a glow. What is the best color for eyeshadow?
I agree with the first person.. stick to creams in the gold family... stay away from white and silvers., because they will create a black-and-white affect. With cream and bronze colors in the gold family will lighten the eye color without creating the contrast illusion of black and white
use a goldish brownish eyeshadow and apply it from lashline to the crease on your eyelid.
use a darker shade of a peachy eyeshadow and apply it on the crease blending it upwards.
then use a pearly white shadow under your brow bone
hope this helped (:
I love a dark brown eyeshadow, you take a whit or silver and put it in the inside parto of your eye and blend it out th brown on the top by the brow bown use a goldish tannish something that has shimmer
bueno mira its kinda kool 2 talk 2 someone latina cuz im latina 2
pero a mi me gusta usar los colores blancos/white por k kasi le combina a todo but also colores like blue oh and pink is also kool cuz it brings out my eyes
Golds, bronze, or a tint of orange into your bronze or gold. Shades of browns work as well.
i would say green purple and gold
i think gold would look nice, but not too much

What would be the best color eyeshadow to use with blue-green-grayish eyes ?
okayy .
ive been using a light brown color latley ,
but it really isnt .. me.
if you get what im saying.
..
which color should i use ?What would be the best color eyeshadow to use with blue-green-grayish eyes ?
Before you kiss off brown shadow, try a pretty shimmery one like Barefoot Contessa by Stila. This'll bring out the blue in your eyes.
To bring out the green, try a purple toned eyeshadow.
If you want something outrageous for a club night, try bright pink/red, which delightfully ';clashes'; with blue eyes and makes them pop like crazy. What would be the best color eyeshadow to use with blue-green-grayish eyes ?
For a greenish blue color I would say to use colors that allow your color to POP and stand out.
I would try any of these, because they allow all the focus to be on your eyes, and give them more dimension.
Medium Blue
Light Blue
Medium Brown
Light Pink
Emerald
Light Green
Plum
Lilac
For makeup suggestions, I would defiantly recommend ';Everyday Minerals'; you can get them cheap (about $2.50 for 1grm) and they last long. Also if you want to go for something more expensive, I love MAC, or the poor mans mac- H.I.P (which can be purchased at a local CVS or drug store)
hope I helped
i have blue eyes and dark brown, grey, and light purple have always made my eyes pop. you could try those colors...
I like to put purple on the inside of the lid closest to the nose and black on the outside. Don't go above the eye lid line though unless you are just doing a light shadow effect. I get complements all the time.
i have the same colour eyes and i find gold eyeshadow really helps my eye colour 'pop'
Use grey, green, or gold eyeshadows
they make them stand out more
My eyes are the same color, accept for the gray, and I use dark brow shadow on top and black eyeliner on bottom. It really brings out the green in your eyes.

I Have a Question about Eyeshadow for Someone Who Knows About Beauty Tips?
I don't usually wear eyeshadow, but, my girlfriend works at the mall, and does makeovers. She did one on me today, and used eyeshadow. She used a shade of blue, but, I have hazel\ brown eyes. She claims this is the best color to use with this color eyes, and that it looked really good on me. I would think you should use a brown, for brownish eyes. Is she right? Is blue the best color for brownish eyes?I Have a Question about Eyeshadow for Someone Who Knows About Beauty Tips?
I'm not an expert or anything, but I think that if you have say hazel eyes and you wanted to bring out the green in them, a purple or brown would bring it out nicely. I don't usually like it when people match their eyeshadow with their eyecolour.. I think that when you add some contrast it brings them out more. I don't know if there is a ';best'; colour for brown or hazel eyes, but I think it would look quite nice. =]I Have a Question about Eyeshadow for Someone Who Knows About Beauty Tips?

you use the opposite color.
brown (similar to orange)
opposite of orange is blue.
voila.
I have brown eyes and i think pinks and browns are perfect colors or any pastel like colors.
yep she is... i'd use a blue or a green shade... with a LIGHT bronze/gold for a highlight
Try a cream at the brow, with darker brown on the eye lid.
